Stayed Jul 3, 2021We have just returned from a week’s stay at the Dolohin Bay Suites. I would highly recommend these wonderful apartments. They are very clean, comfortable and everything you could possibly need and more. The amount of complimentary items were very much appreciated. Paul and Sally are wonderful hosts. From the moment you arrive until you leave they are available and you can ask them anything at all, nothing is too much trouble for them. My Husband has mobility problems and Paul added some aids to the Bathroom to make things easier for him without being asked. We certainly will be returning to the Dolphin Bay Suites.

Stayed Jun 12, 2021Ardersier is a lovely wee village to stay in. It is quiet with all the advantages of being near a city. Plenty of places to go biking, walking and exploring. The nearby cheese shop at Connage dairy sells delicious home made cheeses. Paul our host was very attentive, accommodating and friendly. It certainly some of the best rentals we have stayed in

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was our first trip to Scotland. We traveled from the U.S. The Dolphin Bay Inn and Suites in the village of Ardersier was where we resided. If you plan to journey to the Highlands, I highly recommend it. There is off the street parking available, and it's a quick 10 minute drive from the Iverness Airport. The flat we stayed stand in was clean and cozy. The beds were comfortable, a warm welcome after a day of traveling. The studio style living room/kitchen was equipped with all the comforts of home, and we frequently enjoyed the patio for tea or dinner. There were maps and guides available right outside the door, as well as bicycles to take out along the seaside path. Fort Geoge was a lovely walk at any time of day. The view from the Inn, and the scenery of the Moray Firth, Fort Goerge and Ardersier is stunning: a feast for the eyes and peace for the mind. It's an idyllic place to unwind, unplug and just enjoy the beauty of Scotland. No map or guide could be better than a chat with Paul or Sally. They are so knowledgeable, not just about the area in which they live, but about many other parts of Scotland as well. Pauls's immense knowledge of history, locations, and general information make him an amazing resource to anyone who stays at the Inn. He makes himself available to everyone who resides on the property and his knowledge is peppered with his wit and sense of humor. His wife Sally is equally as bright and friendly, and gave us wonderful recommendations. Thanks to her, we spent a beautiful afternoon over at Cawdor Castle. Listen to Paul and Sally: they won't steer you wrong! The town of Ardersier has everything you need. There's two convenience shops within walking distance from the Inn, as well as a pub, cafe, and restaurant, also in walking distance. The location of the Dolphin Bay Inn and Suites was perfect. During our trip we traveled to the Isle of Skye, and we're going to stretch our legs further but loved the area around Ardersier so much we stuck close. However it is a great location if you wish to jaunt about Scotland. 2-3 hours by train or car to Edinburgh, 2.5 hours to Skye (which was worth every moment in the car) and about 45 minutes from Loch Ness. We loved our stay with Paul and Sally, and hope to return someday soon! Mary and Justine Jarvie Connecticut, U.S.
