Stayed Dec 31, 1969Property is very well located. Bike rental store is at the same address...we took a leisurely ride to the beach. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and shopping. Power in Saugatuck went out for a few hours our last night. I reached out to the local contact, but there were no flashlights or emergency lighting available on the property. We weren't too inconvenienced...managed with our phone lights. Would stay here again.

Stayed Apr 3, 2026Our host Micheal was wonderful! The dishes were clean and while not a full kitchen there was enough to make simple meals with a single burner and toaster oven. It was close to everything we could want to do in Saugatuck which is a definite plus. Unique and overall comfortable place to stay.

Stayed Oct 5, 2025Wonderful little place. Right in the middle of everything. Walk right into town - lots of shops. The town doesn’t really get moving until like 9 AM or so and if you’re an early bird family that’s a little difficult but overall everything was great. The house was so cool and unique. Definitely not a place for toddlers so just keep that in mind if you’re bringing little kids.

Stayed Sep 8, 2025Everything was perfection! From the ease of check-in, to the cleanliness, to the wonderful insight, friendliness & recommendations of our contact person, Michael, to the central location of Saugatuck. It was a delightfully unique space located above The Butler Pantry which had a fabulous selection of coffee, wine, and delicious provisions. This has been, by far, my favorite Vrbo stay and I couldn't recommend it high enough.

Stayed Jun 19, 2025We loved our stay at this quaint spot! We took a girls trip and there were 6 of us and we didn’t really want to share beds, so we had taken air mattresses in case we needed them, but there ended up being a futon and plenty of couches so we didn’t even use them! The beds were amazing!! It was the perfect location. If you are used to visiting these small Michigan towns you know how valuable it is just to have a parking spot, and that was another perk this rental offered! We had reserved parking and we just walked it from there! Saugatuck offers the perfect small town charm. When we checked out we drove to South Haven, and it’s fun, but our whole party agreed that the shopping in Saugatuck can’t be beat. The best shops, great ice cream, good coffee shops, and good food - all within walking distance. This was the perfect home base. We loved our visit! It wasn’t our first time and it for sure won’t be our last!

Stayed Jan 23, 2025A centrally located property in Downtown Saugatuck. This place is tidy and has everything you need for your stay. A full size fridge comes in handy with storing your beverages and leftovers ! The property manager is accessible if need be. Beds are comfortable and the showers are like home. Downstairs is The Butler Pantry for your coffee if you forgot to bring your own. You don't need to move your car since you can walk to most places. This place was just like described and we were fortunate to find this gem ! We will definitely want to come back and stay here again.

Stayed Dec 13, 2024We had a wonderful time. The Interurban is a great way to get around if you don’t want to drive. We went for a hike, shopped, had amazing food, relaxed and even went to the comedy den at Coral Gables. The apartment was everything we needed!!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a beautiful building in an excellent location in the heart of Saugatuck. There's a great little shop in the ground floor as well. The loft is very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The living area is bright and roomy and was great for spending an afternoon with family as a respite in the air conditioning during the hottest part of the day or during a rainstorm. The unit is entirely on the upper level as well, so if you have a stroller or heavy bags to bring along, be advised that it's a hike up the stairs. The kitchen is kind of DIY-ish and there is no dishwasher, so it's not great for doing your own cooking for a longer stay.My only issue with this property is the logistics of the bathrooms and sleeping arrangements. We needed three beds, one of which was the sleeper sofa in the living room. However, the living room windows did not have blinds, so it felt a little strange from a privacy perspective, and it got really bright and sunny really early in the morning. Additionally, the only bathroom on the main level is only accessible through the master bedroom. There is another bathroom up in the loft, and as such both bathrooms are slightly inconvenient for different reasons. In summary, it's a neat place, but just be aware of the logistical limitations.

Stayed Jul 23, 2024My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this property. It had a very different vibe to it then the places I normally stay, and it was enjoyable for a change. It is so close to everything. There is even a pickle ball/tennis court On the other side of the parking lot, so bring your rackets
