Stayed Sep 26, 2025The house was great. Clean house, really good beds and pillows (often beds in rentals are terrible - these were very good), nice overall set up. Good location, on the lake, near the golf course, a few minute drive to Tree House and so many restaurants downtown.Would highly recommend a stay.

Stayed Jun 23, 2025The house was very nice overall except for the window in the upstairs bathroom that was full of dead gnats. The listing does mention that there would be bugs because of the proximity of the lake. However, we were unable to use the outdoor areas due to the amount gnats. It was unbearable. If I knew about the gnat situation prior to booking, I would not have booked this property. There's no ladder in the lake as pictured in the listing. The paddle boards were suppose to be in the garage. The second to last day of our stay we saw the property manager who got them out of the shed in the backyard. Also, the firepit didn't work. We were very disappointed that the property was not checked prior to us checking in.

Stayed Mar 22, 2024Great style & layout.Clean.BYO drinking water Wish we had known that the water is from a well & (to us) undrinkable. Upon entering the kitchen, we found a note assuring us that the water is safe despite a different taste and smell. Had we known we would have brought a couple of jugs of water. Living/dining/kitchen: open concept & welcoming. They had everything we needed, & the four of us were very comfortable. We originally planned on a party of 6 but 2 of us had to back out at the last minute. The 6 of us would also have been very comfortable here. Good use of space on main floor. Basement/street level area: it was nice to have a mudroom in which to leave our shoes & coats upon arrival. This room also houses a ping pong table, though it is about half the size of a standard table. Loved the den which housed a few games & a Ms Pacman machine. Loft bedroom was lovely but chilly, especially by the bathroom. But that worked out okay - we really only slept & showered there. The beds took us by surprise. They were hard. Maybe tempurpedic? We visited during a March snowstorm. No one contacted me about plowing the drive, so I called & texted requesting help. To me, this should have been done earlier in the day & without my involvement. I received a message through VRBO almost 2 hours later saying it had been done. An earlier reply would have been appreciated. The only detractors from the 5 stars were the water & response time re snow removal. Overall a very good experience.
