Lovely one-bedroom apartment with a small terrace overlooking the rooftops of Bologna, just a few minutes from Piazza Maggiore.

This apartment, located on the fourth floor without an elevator, has a private terrace with a small table, ideal for breakfast or an aperitif in the open-air overlooking the typical rooftops of Bologna.

The entrance opens onto a large open space living area, furnished with a large sofa bed where guests can watch TV, read or listen to music, and a dining table. From here, there is access to the partially separated kitchen, equipped with every tool for cooking and also complete with an oven and a microwave. Walking further, there is the bedroom with a queen size bed and a large wardrobe with a mirror. The apartment is completed by a modern bathroom with a double walk-in shower.

*The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parking and enjoying the old town on foot.

*Upon arrival or a few days before arrival it may be required to pay a tourist tax, which varies according to local regulations. You will find your reservation details within the Guest Area of Wonderful Italy.

Bologna is a city of art, culture and trade. The capital of Emilia-Romagna is also known as “Dotta” (erudite), being the oldest university of the West, as “Grassa” (fat) for its gastronomic delights and “Rossa” (red) for the colors characterizing its old town. Its soul is in the medieval old town, one of the biggest in Europe, dotted in taverns, workshops and theaters, characterized by almost 40 km of porticoes. In the city center there is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are the Fountain of Neptune by Giambologna and the Medieval Towers, “Torre degli Asinelli” and “Torre della Garisenda”, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in several museums, art galleries and religious buildings. It is allowed to leave Bologna only after having tried its gastronomic products, among which mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla bolognese while sipping famous DOC wines from the Bologna hills! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna can surprise you in every season.

5 minutes walking from the apartment there is the bus station “Piazza Malpighi” from where it is possible to reach the station with a 10-minutes ride while the airport is less than 20 minutes away by car.

Lovely apartment in a quiet and colourful residential street with balcony and views over rooftops. Good bars and restaurants close by and walking distance into center of the city. On fourth floor and no lift!

Apt needs refurbishing. It is not in the condition as the pictures posted. Furniture, cushions, curtains, are very stained. The kitchen amenities are minimal so you can’t really cook. A card is needed to access the trash bins on the street. We were told we could go to the landfill a 20 min drive away or look for trash cans on the streets that are not locked. The terrace is the only positive for this apr.

My husband and I wanted to LIVE in Italy for a week. This apartment was perfect for that. There is a washing machine and drying rack, so you can do your laundry like the locals. There are enough cooking and eating utensils to make your meals at home. The street is very residential and away from the noise of the tourist and student center. I woke up every morning and drank my coffee on the terrace with my book listening to the sounds of the locals going about their day. The terrace overlooks the hills of Bologna and has a perfect view of the Basilica of San Luca. This area has many neighborhood Osteria and Trattoria (restaurants) that are delicious and authentic. You are still a short fifteen minute walk to Piazza Maggiore and Quadrilatero to get to the sightseeing and foodie spots.

The apartment is a bit worn down and does not match photos. The sofa and cushions are filthy. We didn’t sit on it the entire 6 days we were there. The refrigerator door seems to be missing its handle and is difficult to open. There is no moka pot as described in listing. The pans are all scratched up Teflon. The kitchen is seriously lacking if you’re staying for more than a few days and would like to cook. Only one pillow per person on bed. Extra bedding in closet, but was dirty. We very much liked the location and the terrace, other than that it wasn’t worth the money we paid.

Great location for walking around and exploring Bologna. A note for others the stairs in extreme heat made it very challenging for someone with asthma. We enjoyed the air conditioning immensely however I think the shock from heat to cool inflamed my lungs but I got medicine in the next location. There were hundreds of weird little bugs that came out while we were out. Once on the countertop where we had food and once near the bookshelf where we had spilled wine but had cleaned it up. I think they are some kind of ant? Freaked us out at first but just made sure no food or remnants of food and liquid were anywhere after that.

The apartment was in a great, quiet location, however, there were a few things which needed repairs. For example one of the kitchen cabinet doors had broken off and the skirting board was peeling off. The bathroom wasn't very clean. The balcony was great but the light didn't work. We contacted the host about this but got no reply. We still enjoyed our stay due to the location.

House is good. One issue is at the 4th floor and no elevator. Communication with the real estate professionals was excellent

Nice and cosy apartment very close to the City center. The kitchen is well equipped. Only the bed is too short for a Person of 1.96 m height.
