Sanderling Sea Cottages, Unit 14

We had a great time here. Such great beach views and access.

Access to the beach couldn’t be better. 5 minute Drive from Waldport and Yachats.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean. When we needed toilet paper, as there was not enough, the response was quick. We will come back! Thank you!

It was a pleasant way to relax and unwind, enjoying morning walks on the beach, only a stone's throw from our cottage. Having a quiet place to stay, and not being bothered was very nice. We'll be back.

A fantastic little get-away in a beautiful location with the beach right outside your backdoor. Located ten minutes away from food, beaches and attractions it's close enough to go explore local favorites, yet far enough from the crowds to be relaxing. The room was brilliant - drift and rough cut wood accents, a panoramic view of the ocean and well stocked for an extended stay. The bed was comfortable and the room well kept and clean. Our contact person was Nate. He was friendly and immediately responded to our questions. There are several cottages on the property and tenants were all quiet, polite, mature people. The only down-side I found was that there is no ramp on the back deck...being an ADA room (I walk with a cane) climbing up and down the back steps was a bit difficult and would be impossible for a wheel chair to negotiate. That said, you can easily go out the front door (ramp) and go around the side into the back area. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would not hesitate to book here again. Highly recommended.

The view of the ocean was lovely. It was easy to walk to the beach and not crowded at all. The unit is a ground floor unit, so you can hear the people above, but it’s to be expected to a degree.

Perfect weekend to watch the ocean and easy access to the beach.

Perfect for couple and dog! Ocean view. Short easy walk to beach. Gorgeous weather little kitchenette but perfect for making breakfast and light meals. Enjoyed everything about the place!

This was such a cute little place right on the beach.

Breathtaking view and very clean. Everything you needed in a cozy little spot. Close to restaurants and stores on both ends. We had Unit 14 on the end and there is an upstairs so be aware if someone is up there you will hear them walking around. We are early risers so that was the only annoying thing. Still worth it and will go back again.

we came to stay here for my boyfriend’s birthday so he could wake up on the beach! walking into the cottage we were taken away by the view, everything was clean and beautifully decorated. the bathroom was amazing and completely accessible!! we were able to walk to the beach right from the back porch!!

Everything was great

The Sanderlings are so wonderful. Our third time staying at one of the cottages. Our place was perfect, clean and had everything we needed and more. View was to die for. Watched the whales from our deck put on a show day after day. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Took a couple days to unwind by the beach. This place was everything they said it would be. Highly recommend this place and will stay again.

Short walk to Tillicum Beach with a nice view of the ocean from the deck. Sufficient kitchen supplies for most cooking functions. The facility could use another living room chair and small table. I brought my propane camp grill for grilling on the deck. Also bring poop bags for your dog(s) as none were provided. Nice bath facilities with hot(!) water! Close to Yachats, Cape Perpetua, and Waldport.

A hidden gem where you can enjoy the views and sound of ocean waves right from the bed. The location is convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. My only suggestion would be to provide coffee pods, creamer, or essentials for the coffee maker. It would be nice to sip a cup of coffee while taking in the view without having to step out just for that.

This is my favorite little place to stay with my dog for a few days on the coast!

First we did not interact with the property manager and there was no way to indicate that. The suite had a great view and was clean and comfortable

Letting you know that the unit has ants in the kitchen. Everything else was Great.

An amazing property located right on the beach easy access well stocked so you can go and get your own groceries and use the kitchenette Remely clean check in was easy. It’s located halfway between cats. And Walport. We wish we would’ve found this at the beginning of our trip and stayed longer. We will definitely be back. For bird watchers Sanderlings are the small little white and brown birds that you will see all over the beach behind the cabin. That’s probably why it’s called Sanderling.

Cute with great access to beach, but bring your essential oils as it does smell a bit like a used clothing store. Is right on the highway, but mostly the surf drowns out the sound of the traffic.

We were very comfortable in the cottage. The access to the beach is outside the back door. The chairs on the deck were also a great option for relaxing and listening to the waves. Truly appreciated the coffee pods and the use of a washer and dryer!

Awesome view of the ocean! Easy to get to and a good location for exploring the central coast. Wish the neighbors above would have been quieter as we could hear them walking around in the middle of the night and moving things across the floor. AC seemed to not work during the day but we were gone, so after returning to a hot room we were able to cool off with the late day sea breeze. Despite these few hiccups, it really was a great stay!
