San Marco Architect Designed Penthouse Apartment

Proximity to everything was tremendous. Close to delicious restaurants and cafes. Giulio was a fantastic support even assisting us with private transport at the end of our stay. We loved our time here.

Amazing location. Very close to St. Mark's Basilica. Great restaurants were just steps away. The host gave excellent travel instructions and even arranged a taxi service for our very early flight home! The apartment was perfect for my family of 4.

My son and I had a wonderful time staying here in late June. The apartment is quite spacious, and we appreciated having a washer for our stay.

The stay in Venice was wonderful. This place is just like the pictures. It is as quirky as it is fun. Really loved the washer and drier. Water pressure in tub not good and air conditioner in small room off kitchen did not work. Once we found the place it worked out great and would stay again. Thank you for your patience Agnes.

Great apartment!! Excellent renovation to modern facilities while retaining the old style charm of Venice. Two thumbs up and 5 stars!!

It was nice for the owner!s daughter to meet us at boat to direct us to the place. She warned us that the internet could be a little spotty but it turned out it was not functioning at all. Repeated calls to the owner and daughter went unanswered. As a vrbo owner myself I really needed to get online to communicate with my own guests and could not. There was also a sewer odor that was very unpleasant. Also the microwave would light up but did not work. There were just 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 3days. Towels were stiff. There are more stairs than we anticipated— once you enter the apartment there is another flight up—for a total of 5 flights.

This apartment is even cooler than it looks in the pictures! Great location, close to the sights and great restaurants nearby. Enjoyed our visit!

Wonderfully situated close to St Mark’s Square and other historical sites. Great access to all essential amenities. Really helpful property managers. Would highly recommend.

The flat is wonderful, oozing ancient Veneziano charm and masterfully crafted out of the old attic beam structure. Some would call it quaint, but as an architect myself, I have a great appreciation for the way in which Julio renovated this ancient structure into a warm, beautiful interior. One difficulty is the stairs to get there. Had it not been for my son, we would not have been able to get our large suitcase up there on our own, as the senior years stare us in the face. I think this should be made known beforehand. However, the charm of the place more than made up for that. Would love to stay there again in the future!

Check in went super smoothly thanks to info from host and his representative. Location couldn’t have been better, but the unit itself needs some maintenance. Beds were OK/Linens were basic but serviceable. We stayed in early Oct but needed a/c which did not work in the king bedroom. We reached out to representative who supposedly reached out to maintenance… A/C was never fixed and no follow-up from rep explaining why. Also Tall people beware—few areas of loft where you can stand completely straight. Second bathroom is also very small and corner sink is so small it’s almost unusable

The location was really ideal and the apartment was so nice to come home to after being out all day. The air conditioning was really great too! We would definitely highly recommend and would stay again!

We had a great stay in the penthouse - with a wonderful view of the tower. It was a nice place to get away from the crowns and heat but close to St Marks and lots of restaurants and shops.

We loved our stay in this stunning and spacious apartment. It’s got everything you need and the unique loft design with exposed beams was a great feature. It was close to everything yet secure and quiet. Just around the corner from the entry is a quite spot by the canal where you can watch the gondolas and boats go by. Highly recommend this place.

Nice location, 5 minutes from the Basilica. Bought a multi-day water taxi pass and used that to navigate the area. nice sandwich coffee shop 50 yards away. Everything worked well.

The apartment is beautiful and spaciously sized for three adults. We enjoyed staying in central San Marco without worrying about the noise. The check-in process was smooth and informative, but we didn't see the same level of support throughout. On the first morning we awoke to a strong sulphuric smell emanating from the AC in the bedroom and dining room. When we reached out to the PM, he said he'd check on it, but never followed up with us. The smell continued every morning of our stay even though we left the ACs off after the first night. The smell may be harmless, or within the building air ducts not the unit, but it was certainly anomalous to us and we had hoped it would be addressed during our stay.

In the heart of everything but in a quiet location. Took a vaporetto from the airport - fun way to arrive and we were met at the stop and walked to the apartment. Easy check in process. The apartment has air conditioning and once turned on, the property cooled off.
