We had a wonderful stay! The view of the grand canal was breathtaking! The location was convenient and quiet. The apartment itself was so comfortable, clean, and spacious that it was a centerpiece of our family holiday!

Breathtaking views of the Grand Canal. Charming 4 bedroom apartment with all the amenities you’d want (and more). We had foggy mornings (December visit - it blew off after a few hours), which added to the cozy feel of the space - you could spend hours at the window with a coffee watching water taxis, busses, and work boats as the city wakes up.We were met at the apartment by our lovely host, who had arranged a water taxi pickup from the train straight to the water dock at the back of the house. Excellent communication. Apartment had ample closet space, was well heated, and close to restaurants and stores.About a 5 min walk to the Guggenheim.

This apartment was fantastic. The apartment itself is lovely- high ceilings, two good bathrooms, comfortable beds, good air conditioning independently controlled in each room, a dock directly on the building for water taxis, and multiple windows looking out directly onto the Grand Canal. While everyone has their own favorite neighborhood, I believe the location to be fantastic. Close to the Grand Canal, short walk to the Accademia bridge, a quiet neighborhood, close to several restaurants and bakeries (I found Osteria Enoteca Ai Artisti to be fantastic). It is close enough to easily walk to popular locations like St. Mark's, but enough removed that the nearby streets are not busy. There is something in this neighborhood for everyone- some small shops, gelato, pizza by the slice, and a couple very good museums. Finally, the contact person, Enrica, was absolutely fantastic. She was able to answer any questions quickly via WhatsApp, and also booked multiple water taxis/airport transfers for us (including one at 3:15 am to catch an early flight). Overall, this place was a 10/10.

I would add a soap tray in the shower and extra towel hooks in the bathroom.

We had a warm welcome with helpful advice from the Views on Venice representative. The apartment was clean and tastefully furnished with good views of Academia Bridge. Not too much to improve. In the kitchen, we would have liked a much larger chopping board, there is no potato masher and the vegetable peeler is quite blunt and so difficult to prepare food.

Beautifully decorated, clean and fresh. Arrived by water taxi directly to property dock with a warm welcome from hostess. The views of the canal from our windows were just like the photos. Every convenience was provided for and the location was quiet but still in the mix of things. I highly recommend this site. We will return!

We had a wonderful stay at the Ca’ Mainella Grand Canal. The apartment is just as described, great location with views of the grand canal and very spacious and comfortable. Communication was also great from start to finish. I highly recommend this property as well as Views on Venice. This was my second time renting from them (the first time almost 15 years ago), and they continue to provide great properties and support for a magical Venice experience!
