We had a blast over Christmas and New Years in this beautiful apartment full of character. The beautiful architectural features and quirks made it so fun and interesting and we had everything we needed for a long stay over Christmas and New Years. The neighborhood was better than we ever could have imagined, having everything we could have asked for and more! Would definitely stay here again. Only down side for a family is the narrow stair case up to the apartment, making it a slight challenge with a stroller, otherwise it was perfect!

Beautiful location in the heart of Trastevere. Outside the appartement very busy, inside completely quiet. The equipment is comfortable but rather old. You must however hope that nothing stops working. We lived here for 4 weeks. On day 3 the fridge stooped working. We contacted at once WeekeyRentals, but for three weeks nothing happened. Finally we informed FeWo, they helped us immediately , and for the last 4 days during a stay of 28 days we had a fridge.

The only aspect we liked about this apartment was the location. The place looks nothing like the photos on Vrbo sight. Pictures need to be updated. Dirty, run down, no hot water until 2nd day and then only lukewarm, electric outlets hanging off wall, duct tape used for electrical outlets and shower repairs, bathtub long and skinny so very dangerous when showering bc the sides at angle when standing up to shower, bathroom filthy. There was one roll of toilet paper for 3 of us (for 3 day stay) and we had to go buy more plus paper towel. No dryer and no drying tanks for laundry. Very dark apartment bc only one window in living room and tiny window in bedroom. You can't use the kitchen if you're over 5 feet bc the roof is slanted so you have to duck down to get thru the door and then crouch while in kitchen. Alot of stairs so don't pack a large suitcase. Apartment and hallways smelled of mold stagnant air. Hideaway bed is horribly uncomfortable and furniture is worn and stained. Dangerous coming out of the bathroom bc stairwell to downstairs has first step that is located right outside the bathroom door which isn't optimal bc you have to duck down to get thru the bathroom doorway. Overall, we were very dissatisfied and disappointed by our stay. Location was the only plus. Would not recommend if you're expecting it to look like the photos that are posted. Photos make it look bigger, brighter, cleaner and newer than actual place today.

Superb location - the apartment is beautiful, though a very tight squeeze for two adults and two kids aged 10 and 12. The sofa bed is small. And on the whole, the place could do with a bit of TLC. The bedding for the sofa bed didn't appear to be clean, the apartment wasn't well stocked with plates etc...so...you know...a little bit of effort would go a long way.

We absolutely loved this apartment in Trastevere! Fun and lively neighborhood that is close enough to walk or catch a bus to the historic sights. The apartment is big, but is a walk up some stairs so be warned if you have heavy suitcases/bags. The bathroom and shower is small, but covers all your needs for a bathroom. The apartment also has AC in the main bedroom and living room, which is nice for those hot Rome days. The little patio is lovely for a morning coffee! We would definitely stay again!

Really enjoyed our stay in this little apartment with a small balcony and lots of character. It was really well situated in the heart of Trastevere. So much going on right around it, lots of places for great food, drinks, gelato and easy access to the Ponte Sisto walking bridge across the Tiber. Good shopping too. We were able to really relax in the space with a small, well decorated and comfy living/dining space. There are definitely lots of stairs and watch your head in the kitchen. Check in was really easy, owner and agent really responsive and flexible with the arrival. Stayed here 2x on our trip and very happy we did.

    * Location and quietness were great. * Overcharged, dirty floors, and limited communication not so great. If you do not have a phone that works in Europe, you will not be able to book here. Booking and Check-in * Upon booking, received communications immediately stating the expected fees, note, there was some discrepency in terms of what VRBO asked me to pay versus what I paid (about 70 Euros -- not including city fees) * Received communications a week out requesting my arrival time * Sent response 3 days before arrival due to lack of network access, I also inquired about the meetup and if early deposit of luggage would be possible * Responded back within 12 hours of my arrival (over 48 hours later) * Asked me to text when I was 30 minutes outside the place * Was gracious enough to allow us the early check-in with our bags * Colleague was there waiting for us upon arrival and even carried a bag up the stairs The Location * Place was easy to find and accessible. A little far from any trainstation though. * Shower had bathroom supplies * Working appliances like fridge and clothes washer * Awkward step around the bathroom, be careful * Other reviews about small doors are accurate * Floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in a long time, our feet became rather dirty when walking on it, so we ended up wearing shoes the entirety of our visit * Despite the great scene outside, very quiet at night Other details * Checkout was easy, we just left the keys behind

This unit was OK. The best thing this unit had going for it was location. The shower was dreadful. You could barely use it. The kitchen could not be used as you could not stand up in the kitchen. There are 4 flights of stairs up to the unit and then another flight up inside the actual unit. Not conducive after a long day of walking. The unit needs some serious updating. And the floors need a good scrubbing.
