Romantic getaway! With gorgeous views from the Hot Tub!

The host is on property. You are staying on her property, which is a musty basement with tons of airfresheners. It does state that in property listing that she will be there. She seems very nosy. My kids were uncomfortable cause she was watching them outside and as they were entering the hot tub. She also had dogs that were in the yard a lot and we could hear them barking often. She told VRBO that they weren't there, but they were. The top bunk bed was very very loose and wobbling, it was unsafe for my son to sleep on. The queen size bed in the other room had dirty towels on it when we arrived. And very uncomfortable. Every time you turned or moved it made very loud noises. The kitchenette had no sink. So pretty impossible to clean up after ourselves. There was a lot of dust on the shelves. I would say the property was a good location as being close to wild mountain. The bathroom lights had cobwebs all over them, but lots of towels for us to use: Originally, we booked for 3 nights but after 30 mins of booking we had a conflict and changed to 2 nights. It took her quite some time to refund us for one of the nights. She was supposed to refund us $88.33 and only gave us $75. She needed changing the new booking price to a lot more so she didn't have to refund us for the one night.

It was very clean and welcoming. They supplied so much: paper towels, plenty of towels, toilet paper just a wonderful place for a girls get away. The hot tub was nice a bit to warm at 104. The last rental I stayed in was very expensive and did not provide anything.I cannot say enough good about this place.It was also very quiet.

Overall, our stay was satisfactory, but there are a few things future guests should probably know before booking. The space itself is comfortable and reasonably spacious for a small group, and it worked fine as a place to sleep after being out during the day. However, the rental lacks privacy more than we expected, which may matter depending on the type of trip you’re planning.The kitchenette is quite limited. It doesn’t have a sink, and there was only one fork available, which made preparing and eating meals a bit inconvenient. The grill outside is also very small and didn’t have any utensils provided, which made cooking difficult if you were planning to make meals there.That said, if your plan is to spend most of your time exploring the local area and just need a comfortable place to come back to at night, the rental works well enough and has adequate space for a small group. If your plan is to stay in, cook, and relax at the property itself, it may feel a bit suboptimal.

The hot tub was beautiful and cozy. Our host was wonderful and responsive. We would recommend staying here .

BEST HOT TUB EVER. Comfortable beds and living room area, nicely set up for food prep, given that there's not a full kitchen.

Misleading statements about views of the river from the hot tub, washer and dryer that didn't exist. There isn't even a sink in the kitchen, just a refrigerator and a microwave.

We had a very pleasant stay. It was very cozy with fireplaces in the bedroom and living room. Has a nice fire pit right outside the door. Brand new furniture. Hot tub was fun! Would definitely stay here again!

This place was great, only down fall was no sink ( just in bathroom) and didnt realize there was no stove/oven and no toaster.

Very peaceful and relaxing basement apartment. We were very comfortable for our 6 night stay.

It was a great lower level unit. Lots of blankets and thoughtful touches. The view was a beautiful field where we saw a few deer, not the river. Great location near family friendly activities like Wild Mountain and mini-golf

Gorgeous, cozy place perfect for a quick getaway. Hot tub was awesome. Totally worth checking out. Homeowners were upstairs but we barely even noticed they were there. Only heard them one time! Did not bother us at all.

Peaceful, Romantic, and Quiet

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were very spacious and the host was very helpful and responsive. The area was very peaceful. Parking was convenient. A couple things worth noting though:-it’s a basement apartment in a large house. It was very cold unless all 3 fireplaces were on. - no cattle for cooking water for tea in the kitchen- area- bathroom is very neglected and an eye sore compared to the rest of the nice apartment. The lock in the bathroom does doesn’t work, so there is no privacy. Paint is pealing off the walls and baseboard due to water damage and poor ventilation. Bathroom vent in the ceiling is so clogged with dust it’s not doing its job. Paint is also pealing off the handles of the vanity. Lots of water damage on the bathroom door. Bathroom needs renovation. - mini blinds in the bedroom window let a lot of light in the morning so it’s hard to sleep past 6am. Windows could use some curtains.

Clean and private

Stayed for a couple days in the winter for my husbands birthday . It was quiet and relaxing . The hottub was perfect and the accommodations were lovely . I would deff come back if able .

We wanted a quick, relaxing get away for the weekend not far from home. It is abeautifully decorated and comfortable space

We came to hike and attend a wine event, catching up with a friend. The location was good - to the parks and winery. The parking was a little tricky, as parking was limited and turning around space was limited. Backing out was not a great option. Kitchen was more limited than what we thought, no sink. It was quiet and well decorated, owners were good communicators and the hot tub was nice after a long hike. Bedrooms were nice and beds were very comfortable. Good spot for the Taylors Falls activities.

Great country getaway that was close to town. We really enjoyed the hot tub.
