We also do not guarantee that the internet will meet your work/school needs. Should you have an issue with internet service, please send us a message through VRBO describing the problem. IMPORTANT WINTER INFORMATION :
**Should you travel to the Methow during the winter months it is important to understand that you must be prepared for winter driving(keep chains, shovel...in the car) and all the inconveniences it causes you and the community you are visiting. The weather can be extreme with large snowfalls, unexpected technical issues, frozen pipes, impassable roads/driveways). If it snows while here you will have to wait for plow service just like every other person in the valley. There are a limited number of plow companies and Methow Reservations nor the owners of the house are in control of the plow company schedules. They have many different contracts and many miles of roads, driveways...to plow. If a plow person or a snow shoveler shows up to clear any area around the house, please do not argue with them or turn them away. Move your vehicles if asked. Your cooperation and patience are required especially after any significant snow accumulation. Should you get stuck you can call Classic Towing in Twisp, WA
**Propane Fireplace--should there be tech issues or the propane fireplace upon your arrival please send a message through Airbnb. Methow Reservations and the owner will try to troubleshoot and remedy the problem. If the problem requires a part or there is an issue with the propane company that may take longer that your stay, NO REFUNDS will be given.
Nice, comfortable, and clean. Great views
Booked for a family reunion/camping trip at the nearby lake. The property is very nice and welcoming even though we were only there to sleep and shower. Everything was well organized and clean, just a note, the property is air conditioned as it states, but only in the living room/kitchen. If your a fat Texan like myself… make sure you have a small fan. The outside temperature was comfortable at night, so we just used a small fan in an open window to sleep. I’d recommend this place for sure.
Very convenient to downtown Winthrop (walkable), but off the main street, so quieter. Cute apartment, quite warm in the summer without closing all blinds and blocking patio door from sun as well. Air conditioner had a very hard time keeping up. Well supplied for dishwashing. Disappointed in cleanliness of pull out couch linens. They were not clean so we made do with others. Plenty of bath towels so that was nice. Would stay here again.
We were in town for a wedding, and the River Song Suites were quite affordable. The location was close enough to the downtown to easily walk, and the rooms had a great view of the river.
We had some great adventures in Winthrop and the Cascades but to cap it off, every night and every morning we sat and watched this incredible view right in front of the river. We loved it
It was comfortable, quiet and had a lovely view of the Chewuch River. We made all our meals here and hardly drove our car. The unit is located close to multiple trails and suspension bridges, 5 min to all the shops and restaurants. The beds were very comfortable, the heating/cooling easy to use, good reading lights by the beds and in the living room. TV and DVD weren't too hard to figure out. We had a very enjoyable stay here.
Super comfortable in every way-furnishings were really great! Kitchen well appointed. Great location. King bed a little on the firm side, but that’s better than too soft!! Would stay again in a heartbeat!!
We spent 5 days 4 nights in this property and it was perfect. Very close to town, wonderful view of the river and the place was nicely furnished. Easy check in. We look forward to renting it again next year when we return for the barn dance.
Our family really enjoyed our stay, the property is amazing! The river view from the penthouse is spectacular. Our family was there to enjoy all of the Methow Valley and this place definitely provided our family a great location to the small town city vibe and allowed us access to the valley for hunting and fishing. The house is so inviting right from the moment you walk in. The only negative is we would have loved more towels. We had four people for three days and only four bath towels and one kitchen towel with no dish washer. But the memories we made were amazing. Thank you for letting us stay in this amazing place. We would definitely recommend it to our friends and family.
The property met expectations. Daily high temperatures were over 100 degrees for our 3 day stay. The air conditioner did a great job of cooling the main room but the bedrooms a bit hot during the day but cooled off enough to sleep comfortably at night. Would consider staying here again on future visit to Winthrop.
We found the lodging to fit our needs perfectly. We loved the views over the Chewuch River. Enjoyed the very active swallow population as they sought out their buggy meals.
