Everything was great. The room is beautifully equipped, the bed very comfortable, and the towels plush. It even has a heated toilet seat. This is a hidden gym and if you’re in the Reading area, we would highly recommend it.

Super cute place, lovely owner, great base for a fantastic weekend exploring Shasta County.

Our hostess Karina is a delightful, friendly, exceptionally helpful person. We did not shop before our trip to the Luxury Studio and the next morning we used all of the complementary crwam in our coffee. I textwd Karina asking if we coupld borrow some milk. Within minutes she knocked on the ajoining door and indeed gave us a cup of milk. We told her we would reace it and smili g she said we needn't bother. The Luxury Studio lived up to it's name. It is exquisite. The bed was good and firm, the sheets soft and we sleep quite well. The decor is in natural tones and quite calming. The jacuzzi bath tub was as relaxing as one could dream. When we read reviews someone mentuoned the well equipped kitchen, but we didn't think it would include a wok, so we brought our own. We thought wrong. Karina has put great care in making sure her guest's stay is amazing and relaxing in every way. It was such a lovely stay, we plan to stay there again in January. Vee and G-

We had an amazing stay at the River Retreat Luxury King Studio in Redding. We came to visit my wife’s parents and needed a place close by with fast internet so we could work, and this spot delivered on everything. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances and easy to cook in. We made rice and turkey with veggies, had plenty of room in the fridge, and even had our choice of two coffee setups. We used the coffee pot for our ground coffee, and it worked great. The studio had everything we needed, from kitchenware to paper towels to lots of clean bath towels. The bed was very comfortable, and there was plenty of space to get real work done. The internet was fast and reliable, and the TV had tons of channels and apps. The air conditioning kept the place perfectly cool, and the backyard was peaceful and inviting. They also have a really cool Jacuzzi bath. We’re more shower people, though, and the shower was awesome. It has a high shower-head, like the rain type styles, and the hot water kicked in within seconds. Our hosts were the best part. Friendly, welcoming, and always available, though we never had to ask for a thing. Overall, a fantastic stay and a place we’d happily book again. Thank you so much.

The studio was super easy to access and everything was so clean! We appreciated the spacious bathroom and all the amenities offered. This was the perfect spot for our trip to Redding/Lassen.

This suite was clean, beautifully furnished, and quiet. We sat outside in the sun, and it was lovely!

Very well kept, clean and cozy studio. It was perfect size for 2 adults and our 2 dogs. We did feel some awkwardness having to encrouch in the owners backyard and living space since the yard is free range and dogs need to walk everywhere before finding the right spot. We might have felt more at ease if the yard was partitioned for the guest suite only but definitely wpuld recommend and will book on our future trips to Redding.

Everything was exactly as described, there is a nice trail to walk dogs by the river. Would stay again.

We enjoyed our overnight stay here. The neighborhood is quiet, and the unit is lovely. Karina is very friendly and helpful, letting us use the washer and dryer and providing detergent. Our pup Cody loved playing with Jimmy in the backyard.

We had a lovely 5 day stay at the River Retreat. It was quiet, the bed was excellent, as was the bathroom. The location was a stone throw away from the river, and the trails there are just glorious to walk. Hosts were really great.

Check in was easy and bed was very comfortable, unit was clean . However, heating instructions were not clear as the stand alone heater is a plug in unit by the front door. It was easy to locate great atmosphere we took our 2 pups and they felt at home with the backyard area.

This is our second time to stay at this location. It meets our needs perfectly.

We enjoyed our stay ver much! The family is a joy to visit with. They are accommodating and allowed us our space but were also very willing to visit. The bed is very comfortable and the tub is amazing! We got to enjoy the lemon tree harvest and the patio was perfect!

This little place was so perfect for us, visiting our daughter for a week and hanging out in between hikes and dinners out. The back patio was perfect as was the bed and coffee and jet tub! we will definitely come and stay again on our next visit! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. We appreciated it so much.💖
