River Haven Treehouse w/Hot Tub by Gruene!

The property is beautiful and is a perfect, quiet getaway right down the road from Gruene!

We loved our stay in Gruene Treehouse. It was nicely decorated and only a few minutes from many places we wanted to visit. It’s tucked inside a quiet neighborhood where deer roam freely. Coffee on the elevated porch was such a relaxing start to our days. The AC was great and we loved the coffee and snacks between our many dining options. The Gristmill, Gruene Hall, and Cosmic Plant Co. were some of our favorites in the area.

The Treehouse was fabulous for what we were looking for! We were excited to explore around Gruene and the accommodation provided a great bed shower! It was stocked with coffee and even some snacks! Plenty of towels and a blow dryer. There is a microwave & tiny fridge which was all we needed. Kathleen & Gary were fantastic hosts and the kindest people. We love meeting new people so being on the same property as the hosts we were able to do just that. They were super respectful to our privacy and provided so many great recommendations around the area. It is a 1.2 mile walk to Gruene Hall. We did it on a Friday evening and it wasn’t a bad walk at all. It was a little dark that night with no moon to walk by, but we made due with our iPhone flashlight. We certainly hope to make it back to the Treehouse soon! Thank you for hosting us!

Host Greg and Kathleen very kind and open to suggestions. Clean room, full size bathroom with shower and tub. Access to the river would be a great perk to this site.

We loved staying in the treehouse! The deer in the yard were delightful!

We had such a great time staying at the tree house! The owners were absolutely lovely, and the property is so cute! Super close to the downtown Gruene area, so this place was a hit! The only thing I would like to mention is that the hot tub is not private! We did not mind this as we made some friends with the neighbors that used the hot tub, however if you are a private person just keep that in mind! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Gruene!

What a wonderful stay! The treehouse was absolutely beautiful, perfectly decoated and welcoming, and could not have been more comfortable. The hosts, Greg and Kathleen were so helpful and we felt like instant friends. They had every amenity you could need for a few nights stay. We will most definitely be going back in the future. We highly recommend this for your stay in Gruene. Another tidbit to know, they have a separate two-story cottage on the same property if you have more people in your party.

Loved this cozy, quiet treehouse. It was fully stocked with coffee, snacks and amenities to add to our relaxing spontaneous weekend trip to Gruene. A very unique and peaceful way to enjoy the Hilly Country atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this property and we would return for another trip for sure.

Awesome location. Right in between Austin and San Antonio. The town of Greune is so much fun. Great launching place for a lot of attractions!

We loved our stay. The treeehouse was super clean. Great floor plan and very comfortable. Despite the heat, the AC kept us cool and we loved sitting out in the deck. We were minutes from town and Gruene Hall. We appreciated the cozy decor and amnenties included as well.

The property was exactly as described. It was located close to Gruene.
