The Bangalee complex is located right on the waterfront in beautiful Soldiers Point. It juts out on a peninsula and is nearly completely surrounded by water, making it a perfect place for fishing, swimming, kayaking and sailing. The award-winning Soldiers Point Marina is just 500m away, with state-of-the-art facilities and a selection of dining options, and the Wanda shops are just 2.5km away and offer a grocery shop, bakery, butcher, hairdressers, take-aways and a bottle shop. For further holiday action including dolphin watch cruises and a championship golf course, Nelson Bay township is approximately 11kms away.

This lovely, fresh and welcoming unit offers a cosy open living area consisting of a dining area, lounge area with ceiling fan and flat screen TV and a well equipped kitchen including a dishwasher. The dining area leads out to an undercover balcony that overlooks both the pool and the beautiful waters of the bay – cook a casual dinner on the gas BBQ and sit on the outdoor furniture to dine alfresco in the fresh ocean breeze.

The unit offers 2 carpeted bedrooms with ceiling fans, the main with a queen bed and the 2nd bedroom offering 2 single beds and a trundle. The bathroom is fitted with both a shower and a bath, and the spacious laundry features both a washing machine and a dryer.

You have access to the communal in-ground swimming pool and the handy outdoor shower, ideal for rinsing sand off after a day at the beach. There is also a single carport, and the complex is fully fenced with an electric code for entry.

Important Notes:
- Linen and bath towels are included. The beds will be made ready for your arrival (except for the trundle bed).
- There are 30 stairs up to the apartment from ground level.

    It’s 2024, and we all turn up with iPads and phones to charge, but we have to shove the bed around and keep it off the wall to use a power point, and the tv is facing the wrong way. It’s simple. Provide power boards for the bedrooms and the living area that accomodate USBs connected by 2 metre leads. Thats an investment of $30. Also no power point in the bathroom. It was extremely hot and humid. No air con, but fans. Another thing. Any SUV can’t be parked in the garage area, only sedans and station wagons. The roof is too low. Apart from these things, a good little albeit aged, apartment. But please fix up the power issues.

    Perfectly situated with access to shopping, beaches and restaurants. We were unhappy with the cleanliness, first day i had to purchase mold cleaner to clean the shower. Glass doors were filthy, bedding had stains. Possibly bed bugs, as two of us experienced bites while sleeping. No air-conditioning. Property has potential if cared for. Great undercover parking and lovely pool.

    Property is basically as advertised on website however didn’t seem to have been cleaned since last visitors and was missing some kitchen essentials to make stay a 5 star experience. Disappointing for the premium paid to stay at this time of year.

    We had a great couple of nights here. Situated right on the water, we had bought a boat so were able to launch straight off the grass out the front. The unit had everything we needed and was comfortable. May look to come back next year!

    Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was fantastic and secure and relatively secluded.

    property was great, very well appointed and great location. more attention to detail needed with initial presentation of property. rubbish in kitchen bin, not enough pillow cases, flat batteries in fan remotes. etc. minor details but this is what sets a good customer experience apart from a great one. Would stay here again.
