Retro Apartment in Andersonville

Our two night stay at the property was exactly as promised. The apartment was great. Everything (and more) than we needed or expected! From the cleanliness, retro decor, to the comfortable beds, everything was awesome. The area was walkable to restaurants, bars, grocery, pharmacy, etc..we felt very safe to walk even at night. Parking on the street was a bit slim, but we Ubered for our longer trips. Jim, our host was great ! He responded to messages and questions immediately. He was very proactive in check-in and check-out procedures, which was very helpful. There were no surprises. I would definitely recommend this property. We would stay here again if ever in the area again.

One of the nicest places I have ever booked! Fabulous decor and neighborhood is very family friendly and LGBTQ friendly and walkable. The place is spacious, modern, charming, and spotless! It has every amenity one needs. The bathroom is wonderful and kitchen was great! It is 2 blocks to the main drag of restaurants and shops. Grocery is one block away. The train is 5 blocks away.

Lovely apartment, very comfortable, and within walking distance of the north end of Andersonville (grocery store, restaurants, bars). Also a very quiet area! The host was very responsive to any questions or requests.

I chose this unit because of the location near our son & daughter-in-law's house. Was 1 block away and perfect for a weekend getaway in the big city. The pictures were spot on and the host ( Jim ) was outstanding. Everything was clean. Check in worked perfect. Have given the Vrbo info to our son for his friends to use if they come for a visit. Way nicer then a hotel! Thanks again, Tom & Jan.

Great place to stay! Very nice 2 bedroom apartment with great amenities. The apartment was perfect for our needs, clean and in a great location. The host communicated well throughout our stay and we will most definitely look to stay here next time when are in the area.

This is a wonderful place--thoughtfully furnished, impeccable condition, perfect location (with accessible on-street parking) with quick access to public transportation. Andersonville shops and restaurants are a block away, and the neighborhood is calm and pleasant. It can't be beat!

I want to be clear that all my reviews consist of constructive uplifting info to help someone! I have stayed at a lot of properties through Vrbo! But I must say this was the most beautiful .This unit is absolutely mind blowing! It is so well well done colors, decor and quality. It was immaculate very warm and welcoming and and also located in a prime super safe beautiful neighborhood on the north side of Chicago a 10 min walk to some of the best bars and restaurants and also a large gay community with bars and restaurants.this was a staycation for my husband Birthday and I was overjoyed when I walked through the door of this fully equipped unit with amazing beds decor and an outstanding kitchen that offers everything you need and a gorgeous modern bathroom…everything about this unit starting in the entry way clean modern and super beautiful…the only constructive criticism I have is there is a back door that leads in to a back storage area that look really nice but it’s a little creepy because the top of the door is glass and it Looks into the back bedroom! It would be nice if they owner could frost that glass so you can’t see in the unit. Also check in was 3pm but I didn’t receive check info until after 4pm once I emailed the owner. I know things happen it was not a prob…I just know owners want you check out exactly at 11pm and renters expect the same to check in exactly at 3pm.PLEASE PLEASE DONT PASS THIS UNIT UP!

Close to the heart of Andersonville and CTA red line. Apartment was very clean, recently renovated with all new appliances and beautiful vintage elements. Communication with owner was excellent. Cute outdoor patio.
