Roberto is the most gracious host. Our room was located in a great area close to quaint restaurants and shopping and walking distance to the Spanish Steps. Very easy to get around from this location.

Roberto was very nice and accommodating. The AC worked well. We did have a problem with the bathroom sink hot water. The flow rate was not high enough for the water heater to kick on so was rarely able to have hot water. Having another faucet running helps with that. The washer was smaller than I've ever seen, so we had to run it many times to wash all of our laundry, but it did work. The apartment was conveniently located but not someplace you would want to be walking at night. The taxis in Rome are plentiful and reasonably priced. We enjoyed dining at Pop's just down the street as they offered ahnAmerican breakfast. I would stay here again.

Clean, comfortable and secure. Our host Roberto met us when we arrived, gave us clear directions on the everything and great suggestions on restaurants etc. It was a wonderful stay and we’ll be back!!!

I can not say enough about Roberto and his apartment. My daughter and I stayed from July 7-10, 2025. He allowed us to check in early, took his time to explain where things were, provided water for us when we arrived, checked on us to make sure we were ok, and brought his dog for us to meet the last day. He is such a gentleman and an amazing host. His apartment was immaculate and had everything that we needed and more. I hope to bring my husband next summer to meet Roberto and stay at his place. I would give him 10 stars him I could.

Our stay at Mellini 34 was excellent. It’s spacious and has great A/C! All the utensils & items needed to cook a meal are in the kitchen. There are few staples in the cabinet like oil, coffee, salt & pepper. We were able to walk to many places & monuments. Definitely a gem of a place. We look forward to coming back again in future visit.

My daughter and I spent 5 nights in the apartment and lived the location and everything the apartment had to offer! We were very comfortable and Roberto was a superb host.

Roberto was a wonderful host. He has an absolutely beautiful property in close proximity to all the great sites. I highly recommend this location when you visit Rome.

Clean, close to everything we wanted to do.

Property was very clean. They have a little elevator in the building which was very convenient! Roberto was extremely welcoming and made sure to find time to meet us. He came by and told us all the good places to eat and explained everything in detail with a map. The apartment was just across the river from everything, so the walk was pretty and short. Roberto was very accommodating and urged us to text him if we needed anything at all. At the end of our stay he stopped by to call a taxi for us and say goodbye. I definitely recommend staying here!

Beautiful apartment with everything needed for comfort. Surprisingly quiet for being in the city. Walking distance to so many attractions. Roberto was extremely helpful in getting us acquainted with the apartment & our surroundings, even made excellent restaurant suggestions. Highly recommend!!!!

Historic quiet apartment in a super area. Very comfortable and Roberto was a wonderful host who provided all the assistance we needed. Would stay again.

The furniture was sparse but adequate, the bed comfortable. Could have used more bath towels and dish towels to dry dishes. The tv was just a computer monitor, but who goes to Rome to watch tv? The elevator was a trip! Tiny and antique. It was a fun place to stay, great location. I would stay there again. The host, Roberto, was wonderful.

Roberto was very helpful with our check in. We arrived later in evening. He helped arrange a taxi ahead of time for us. Checked in several times through out the week to make sure we had everything we needed. Apartment was clean, well maintained, and in a great location. I appreciated being able to cross the river and get away from the crowds at the end of the day.

A lovely little apartment, quiet, walking distance to the centre, close to restaurants (La Dispensa dei Mellini is three doors down) and small supermarkets and a very welcoming host.

Residenza Mellini was the perfect home base during our 5 day visit to Rome. The apartment was comfortable, clean and well equipped, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was wonderful. We were welcomed by our host Roberto, who gave us great tips on nearby restaurants, where to get the best pizza, and how to find our way around this beautiful city. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit Rome..

Mellini 34 is highly recommended for Rome. It's in a perfect location on the west side of the river close to the Vatican and 10 minutes from the Spanish steps, much quieter and less touristic than being on the east side. There are local restaurants patronized by the locals which offer good food at better prices such as Berinetta and Dispensa. The Essalungo supermarket is high-end and close by with a small market right next door. Roberto is a great host and his apartment is clean and modern in a classic building. Only criticism would be that the television could be larger. All together a good experience.

We spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful little appartment in an excellent location, taken care of in the best possible ways by its proprietor Roberto. We are looking forward to coming back!!

This place was a fraction of the price of hotels in the area and SO MUCH NICER. It was perfect. We walked everywhere we wanted to go. AND Roberto was such a great host.

Property location is excellent. Most points of interest are within walking (up to 30 minutes) distance. There is adequate space for sleeping, cooking, and other essential activities. The host Roberto is very friendly and accommodating. He helped us find transportation, provided recommendations, etc.
