Enjoy this completely remodeled second floor apartment featuring all the modern amenities nestled in one of Port Huron's finest neighborhoods. Located one house off the lake, you'll enjoy distant lake views from inside and out. Private beach access not included, but beaches are all a 5-10 minute walk. Lower unit (vrbo #2005496) is also available to rent.

This apartment is the upper unit in a 100 year old home that was converted to two separate floor apartments decades ago. The upstairsapartment was remodeled in 2022 including: fully stocked new kitchen with new appliances, walk-in pantry, new bathroom with marble counters, refinished hardwood floors throughout, new lighting, new paint, new furniture and plush Nectar mattresses. Joovy portable crib, Baby Jogger single stroller and two Inglesina Fast Table Chairs are available upon request at the time of booking. Designated (not shared) washer/dryer on site with laundry soap and dryer sheets provided. Situated on a third of an acre, there's plenty of room to play, dine outdoors at the table for six, or just relax in the park like setting while watching distant boats sail by. Basement features table tennis and Pop-a-Shot.

Close to everything! You'll have your choice of four public beaches all within a half mile, including popular Lakeside Beach which features a splash pad, playground, beach volleyball, concession stand and 1050' of beach. Lakeside Beach parking pass, utility cart, six beach towels, assorted toys and six beach chairs provided. Enjoy Lighthouse Beach's 900' of beach and park which are only half a mile away (parking pass provided). Additionally, there are two smaller neighborhood beaches. The Blue Water Bridge and riverfront walkway is only a mile away. Downtown Port Huron is about a five minute car ride, as are Target, Kroger, Meijer, etc. Desmond Landing is 3.5 miles. Several public golf courses are located within 10-20 minutes. Charming downtown Lexington is a 25 minute drive. McLaren Hospital is 2.3 miles.

Access to the second floor requires going up 1.5 flights of narrow switchback stairs and may be difficult for some to navigate comfortably and/or safely. The front stairwell can be used as well, but keys are not provided.

PLEASE READ: Private beach access is not included. The downstairs unit is pet friendly and may be occupied by long or short term guests with dog(s). Starter paper products and K-cups provided.     The stay was great overall! We were just under the impression it was a bit closer to the beach and we did not read about the stairs until it was much later. Both were our own fault, but things that were not well highlighted in the listing either. Overall, the apartment was beautiful and the hosts were amazing! Thanks for a restful mom's get away from their responsibilities weekend!

    Everything was perfect! The details of this property were spot on. Very clean and well-kept, even with amenities I wasn't expecting. The host was very friendly and responsive to our needs and suggested some great places to visit and good quality restaurants since we had never been to Port Huron. Beautiful property and so close to everything. Definitely a home away from home. I would highly recommend you check this out!

    This place is in the perfect location! Super close to the beach and a good spot if you want to go explore other parts of Michigan. The place itself also had everything you could possibly think of. Would definitely stay here again!

    Beautiful, immaculate property. Perfect location for us. Host was lovely to communicate with. I was concerned about the stairs because of a previous review but they are a non issue. Several steps to get to unit with one turn that is somewhat narrow. However very sturdy, well kept stairs. Would definitely stay again.

    Beautiful place. Immaculate property. Great beds and very functional kitchen. Bonus…..lots of tv station options, unlike many other properties. Owners were available, helpful, and very friendly. Would highly recommend!

    This renovated two-unit house is located in a quiet, residential area with adequate parking in the back. The interior is airy, clean, well-appointed and roomy without a lot of dust-collecting decorations. Bedrooms have plenty of hangers/closet/drawer space and beds were clean and comfortable. However, there are some serious safety concerns. While parking in the driveway is not allowed because it is shared with three other homeowners, I encourage the owner to allow use of the front steps if renters are willing to carry their bags from the parking area to the front door. Keeping in mind that most renters will have at least one, if not more bags, these linoleum covered back steps (approximately 21) are not user friendly to any age, but especially to children, seniors, or renters with medical conditions. They are narrow, winding, and lacking handrails in parts of the stairwell. The back stairway is lighted, but a small sign indicating how the upstairs/downstairs lights coordinate would be helpful. If the current policy of using the back steps only remains in effect, the number and condition of the steps should be so noted on the rental description. The bathroom shower/tub lacks a grab bar as well as a slip mat. Approximately four additional steps lead to the basement to access the washer/dryer. That basement room lacks an exterior light switch forcing renters to “feel around” in the dark for the light. In my state this house would fail a basic building inspection.

    Great place to stay as it was very clean and close to the beach and shopping/food. The host was very accommodating and thoughtful! We had an issue with check-in but she quickly resolved the issue and communicated with us immediately! Would definitely stay here again!
