Stayed Jun 13, 2025Property is spacious and nice. Check-in only in Italian. Unexpected cost for AC, towels, wifi and second bedroom. Faucets need cleaned. No amenities to start stay.

Stayed May 17, 2024First let me say that this property is exactly as depicted in the photos/description. The view is outstanding, the location is perfect -- a five-minute walk from the center of Vieste. I would book this property again and would recommend it to others. BUT. You need to know several things: First, the owner lives out of town and sends the surly/unhelpful Vassily to welcome you. He has zero interest in helping you figure out how to park, zero interest in telling you about Vieste. His excuse was that he didn't speak English. Well, I speak Italian, and he wasn't interested in speaking to me in Italian either. He wanted to let us in and get out. Second, you need to accept the nickle and dime aspect of paying extra for towels and internet. This is very clearly stated in the description, but it is still hard to swallow. You pay 10 euros per person for the kind of towels I used in junior high gym class. You pay 13 euros for four days of internet. There is NOTHING, I repeat nothing, in the apartment for your use. No dish soap, no paper towels, you are provided exactly one dishwasher pellet, no soap in the showers. Each bathroom gets one roll of toilet paper. Third, the upkeep is not the best. We discovered someone else's clothing in one of the closets. Three of the four light bulbs in the second bathroom were burned out. Fourth, there is noise from the scooter repair shop downstairs and the construction going on on the floor above. But the view! Made the rest of it tolerable.

Stayed Nov 13, 2023As all other reviewers have said, there is a great view from this spacious apartment. It is, however, a no frills rental. Few of the so-called amenities (which I read as included in the rental) were actually free; some (like parking) weren't even guaranteed. Unlike all the other VRBO owners we rented from on this trip in Southern Italy -- all of whom were unfailingly welcoming and generous -- this owner was purely transactional. I felt like I was being nickled and dimed for the most basic amenities -- like towels, heat, and wifi. Caveat emptor and read the fine print.

Stayed May 17, 2023The apartment is beautiful, comfortable with views to die for! Luigi was easy to communicate with and very friendly. My only recommendation is to provide some basic things for using the kitchen (a sponge and a few extra dishwasher soaps and dish towels). Otherwise, the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Really - everything about this place is excellent and we had a great time in Vieste and the surrounding area. Thank you, Luigi!

Stayed Apr 7, 2022The location was the jewel! Nice to be able to walk easily into town. Parking was an issue. With those issues it was still a great place to stay.

Stayed Apr 1, 2019This apartment just steps away from the historic section of Vieste will forever be in my heart. The apartment is well appointed, clean and comfortable. The views, however are what will take your breath away! Luigi is very reaponsive and helpful in answering any questions you may have. Thank you Luigi, for sharing this with us. Tony and Linda

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We spent a week in this lovely apartment overlooking the sea in Vieste. My husband and I and his sister found the apartment to be very comfortable, well furnished and equipped. We were very happy to have two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The kitchen, dining and living areas were spacious, nicely furnished and very comfortable. We cooked several meals in the well-equipped kitchen. But the star of the apartment was the balcony -- we spent much time relaxing with the wonderful view. We also enjoyed walking in the town, with the evening promenade. Highly recommended.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969The flat was very spacious and well appointed. It also had amazing sea views. It was easy to access local amenities e.g. supermarkets, shops and cafes. We would definitely recommend it.

Stayed May 25, 2017The apartment is perfectly located on the third floor in a building at the edge of the sea. All the living area and bedrooms have a balcony that face the sea and gives the allusion of hanging over the water. The apartment is beautifully furnished and finished with fine appointments. Luigi was in regular email contact with us before our arrival and made everything clear about our stay. We loved the easy walking access to the town which we explored on foot each day and evening. I highly recommend Luigi's apartment to anyone wanting a memorable experience on the Adriatic coast.
