Lovely area, close to hiking trails, and downtown Missoula

We loved this quaint, very clean, quiet apartment! It was very homey and relaxing! Everything you could need/want was available. The couple who manages it were very sweet and fun. The lil dog Jeffe was so cute. We would definitely come back here to stay!

This was a great place to stay - quiet, secluded, and still close to downtown Missoula. I loved spending the evenings out on the deck and the whole experience of this stay felt very restful.

Such a comfortable experience! Our hosts were very welcoming, and we enjoyed visiting with them when we arrived. The accommodations are very homey and the personal touches made us feel comfortable right away. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to make meals, including spices and some condiments. Oh, and the coffee was delicious too! We made good use of the deck and enjoyed the trees and the sound of the near-by creek. We would love to stay again if the place is available on our next trip to Missoula. I loved that the place was clean. The full kitchen and electric fireplace was a plus. The sheets were very nice after a long day.

We love this little apartment! Stayed here for an early Thanksgiving with out adult kids last month and booked again for an early Christmas. The kitchen has absolutely everything i needed to cook a holiday meal. And we loved the little Christmas decorations set up to make us feel the spirit of the season. Carolyn and Loren are perfect hosts, making sure check in is easy and then giving us privacy while we are there.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful and relaxing. We were in town for work and it was just so nice to come to a place at the end of the day and relax. Our hosts were so accommodating and lovely.

Th directions were spot on. The host welcomed us and gave us quick tour. The upstairs apartment was lovely, comfortable, quiet and spacious. I was cooking a Thanksgiving dinner for four and the kitchen had EVERYTHING I needed. We will definitely book again when we are in Missoula!

The hosts were great.They walked is through the home provided friendly conversation and we're very gracious. The home is cute very well stocked and off the beaten path. 10/10 we would stay here again.

We were warmly greeted by the host and hostess, that personally showed us around the nice, homey property. The property made us feel safe and at home. The apartment was very clean, fully stocked and tastefully decorated. Completely fenced and gated with room for the fur babies to explore. We would recommend this property and would gladly stay there again in the future. Thank you, Loren and Carolyn!

The property is at the end of the road, very quiet. Hosts are welcoming and friendly. They were accessable but did not intrude. The space is clean and everything works as it should. Parking was easy but be aware the drive is limited in width and a large van or camper would be a tight fit. Thanks to Missoula also for being friendly in general.

Charming apartment. Worked great for our long weekend stay. The hosts were accommodating and provide everything you might need. There are outdoor stairs to the house attached apartment, this was not a problem for us but the hosts do provide an elevator if need be. Overall, excellent stay.

We ourselves we're not able to stay, our friends stayed for us and they were completely pleased with their stay and told us if we are ever that way again that we should stay there because they loved it.

You would never guess it from the front of the home, but this property has a secret garden included. The little flat had everything that I needed - kitchen, comfy bed, and parking. The flat was clean and tidy. My little dog was able to freely roam around the back yard and she had a wonderful time discovering new scents. I will definitely have to return to this treasure!

Carolyn and Loren's lovely haven is a respite from the world. They are kind, thoughtful, and generous people, and their home and garden shines with their 50 years of devoted care. If you would like to be sequestered away in Missoula's best neighborhood, this is the place. It's convenient to the best hiking, the university and downtown, and has a great kitchen, a comfy bed, and a perfect deck for enjoying the view. Plus it has a fenced yard and allows dogs. Though I stayed there alone 2 nights, my husband brought our 2 dogs over one afternoon and so I can comment on the dog setup as well.There are three issues future guests should be aware of, and I did bring them to Carolyn's attention, so I'm sure they will be addressed in future:1. One of our dogs did escape the fenced yard--we aren't sure how. 2. The access to the apartment is via an open metal exterior staircase that one of our dogs flung himself off of because it scared him that he could see the ground through the steps. (He wasnt hurt--he's pretty tough--and young). Our old dog handled the stairs just fine, but I wouldn't have thought either of them would have had a problem--so you may be surprised. Carrying my luggage up those stairs wasn't easy for me--I'm 69--so Carolyn kindly let me use the elevator inside their house! That was a blessing.3. The only serious issue for me was the shower. It has on-demand hot water with very poor water pressure. Because of the low water ppressurressureerythingood

Clean, comfortable apartment; quiet, lovely neighborhood; 10 minute drive to University of Montana campus and downtown Missoula.

Such a homey, well appointed apartment. Hearing the creek in the evenings after getting back to the apartment was an added bonus. The pictures were spot on. The location couldn't be beat for the writing retreat we attended during the day.

Our stay was wonderful! The accomodations were perfect. Everything was extremely clean and accessible to make our stay delightful. The bed was comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed. Check in was easy. The hosts were available if needed. This was our seystay in the with the Rogers. We will definitely stay again. Perfect in every way.

We rented Carolyn and Loren's spacious apartment for a long weekend. The bed was comfortable and the place cozy with the cheery gas fireplace in the living room. We did not cook meals, but the kitchen is fully equipped. What a jewel of a find. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Checkout instructions would have been helpful.

This place was clean. The hosts were nice & check in was easy. The hot water in the shower was hard to figure out other than that everything was very nice. The kitchen is well stocked with untencils etc.

Listed as an apartment but looks (and feels) like a proper guest house. Private entrance with lovely deck facing a peaceful backyard. EVERYTHING is provided and has been thought of inside. Absolutely immaculate, and so charming. The location is very quiet, while also a quick, breezy drive to/from downtown and the University campus. We loved every bit of it.

We had a couple of mishaps during our stay that were unrelated to the VRBO, and our hosts were kind enough to take help us out both times. The neighborhood is quiet and a short walk to a sweet little park.

Apartment was actually warmer and more comfortable than listing photos suggest.Wonderful private deck overlooking lush back yard. Gracious hosts (Loren and Carolyn) on site, extremely accommodating. Great location in quiet residential neighborhood. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.
