Stayed Mar 24, 2026This is a great place to stay. The owners have used their respective work skills in interior design and stone masonry to finish and furnish the apartment tastefully and comfortably. The apartment evokes the style of an earlier era, the 1950s, but the finish is superb, with all the conveniences a modern traveler could look for. Off-street parking is a big plus. The Wallingford neighborhood is full of charm, with plenty of shops and restaurants just a few blocks up the hill from the apartment, and down the hill Lake Union and Gasworks Park, with a spectacular view across the water of the downtown skyline. A ring binder of instructions explains everything you need to know from the moment of checkin to checkout, with contact information for the hosts (whom you also may meet as we did when they came to do a little outside yard work) if you have any questions. My son was so impressed with the place that he immediately booked another visit for a few months later, and we plan a return next year. I have never been so reluctant to see the end of my stay in a vacation rental as I did on this occasion.

Stayed Jul 30, 2025Check-in was smooth, everything was clean, and well organized. The hosts were excellent communicators. Our stay was comfortable and the neighborhood was beautiful and centrally located to numerous Seattle attractions. Also, the mid-century modern style was very appealing. Five stars.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This was the perfect place for our vacation. Our host was very well organized and easy to get in touch with. The apartment was clean. We had fresh linens and all the necessities for a comfortable stay. The apartment was close to restaurants, coffee shops and entertainment. We rented cars in the neighborhood or walked wherever we needed to go. Very convenient location. Would definitely stay here again.
