A lovely, quiet place away from the crowds! The room was clean and comfortable. Good communication from the host. If you're ok climbing stairs, I highly recommend staying here!

Colleen was an excellent host. So many positive and good things to mention. Colleen has an good vibe and was very informative and responsive. We were celebrating our 20 th Anniversary. She left champagne and goodies. Amenities such as bikes, beach chairs , towels. She let us use her grill. Great location. Outside shower . I am one to bring extra linen and cleaning supplies. No need place is obviously professionally cleaned. The one word to describe is Woosah. Just Book Now!

The property's location was perfectly situated. The property itself was immaculately clean and comfortable well-equipped with all necessary amenities, including kitchen dishes and bathroom essentials. The hostess was exceptional, accommodating our request to change dates on short notice. She also provided valuable recommendations for local dining, attractions, and general knowledge of the area. We will definitely stay here again

Colleen was a really nice host that let us use her beach equipment and bikes and had great recommendations. As for the space it was really clean, comfortable, and perfect for two people.

The treetop suite was perfectly equipped for our overnight stays. Easy Access, Clean and Cozy.

This place not only met our expectations, it exceeded them. Very quiet neighborhood that is convenient to all things OBX. This was our first ever visit to the outer banks and this was the perfect spot for us to stay. My wife loved how comfortable and clean the place was! Colleen was very helpful and was so right about her recommendations for food! We will definitely stay here again if we make our way back to OBX.

Perfect for just me! Easy access to the beach and main road for restaurantsand activities, about 2.7 miles, on bike or drive. The room is tasteful,comfortable and a nice size. It was well equipped. Colleen was super responsive and kind. I will warn you that if you like long, hot showets that you'll be disappointed. You'll get about 5 minutes but that wouldn't stop me from staying again. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay-close to amenities and short drive to OBX beaches. We were able to explore Corolla to Cape Hatteras. Our host took us on a bike trail through woodland area that was absolutely beautiful Her recommendation for local restaurants were spot on.on.Herrecommendation

We were looking for a place to just unwind and relax while the whole family was in the OBX. This little place fit the bill. The hostess was exceptional and allowed us to come and go without any issues. The room was comfortable, clean and just what we needed. We got to enjoy the family during the day, and then get away to relax on our own afterwards. Will definitely be going back again next year. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

The Bluebird Suite was a great place to stay in the OBX for a couple who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the beachfront, but yet only a few minutes drive to the beach, restaurants and other attractions that the OBX has to offer! Colleen is a very hospitable and friendly host who goes above and beyond to provide for anything you may need while staying at her “homey feel” suite in the woods!??
