Private Charming Small Apartment

My girlfriend and I loved the property. It was perfect for the two of us. Very quite, great location for what we wanted to do on vacation. Less than an hour to Dauphin Island and other beaches. 5 minute drive to local dining and culture area. Owner was very accommodating. My girlfriend left her favorite pillow and the owner mailed it back to her. We loved it! We will definitely be staying here again.

We loved our time here - the hosts were warm, friendly and accommodating! After a day exploring the area it felt like we were returning home! The apartment was roomy yet cozy at the same time - perfect for us. We really enjoyed the electric fireplace for our evenings - very relaxing! Great location - wonderful apartment - awesome hosts!

I booked this Apt back in February for my family's stay in Mobile, AL. I read the listing several times, aloud to my wife and dad while I was looking for places to stay for our trip in late April. I did not see anywhere on the Expedia listing at that time that children were not allowed. We show up on the check in day and were told we were not allowed on the property due our children. I asked for a refund and good buddy Cliff said VRBO handles that and he could do nothing. I called VRBO immediately upon leaving (VRBO and Expedia appear to be intertwined, my booking was reserved in both.) VRBO informed me that the owner can indeed refund and is the only person who could, so the owner was dishonest regarding this detail. I was also told the child policy had been changed an unspecified amount of time previously due a child getting hurt in the Apt. None of this was told to me when I spoke with the owner. I made the reservation months in advance, the listing was changed, and now I am 600 miles from home with no place to stay and not even a partial refund (I had reserved 7 nights.) I did not berate or raise my voice to Cliff, I was polite and composed, but his handling of issues is very lacking. I would never stay at any property of his because if there is any issue or dispute, there will be no reasonable resolution.

Clifton was very professional

My fiance and I were in Mobile for a friend's wedding. We arrived kinda late at night and Clifton received us with a warm smile. The apartment was spotless and everything looked good. He was very nice and left some snacks for us. We even had eggs and water in the fridge. He provided us with shampoo and soap. Whenever I texted him, he replied quickly. We were just 10 minutes away from downtown. We loved staying here.

Nice place, nice owners

A very nice place to spend a night or two. The hosts are pleasant and keep the place clean. The decor is certainly not modern, but is comfortable. Don’t think you can find a better stay for the cost.

It was very close to where we needed to be. Owners were very nice. Decor very old fashioned but homey. Just wished it had curtains because the room was beaming at 7am and it woke me up.

The accomodations were clean and perfectly located, close to downtown but far enough from throngs of people. The hosts exemplified Southern hospitality: helpful, great communication, outstanding Mobile ambassadors and they treat you like family.

Overall nice place. Easy to find. Great communication with host. Only complaint is mattress was uncomfortable. Personal preference I know but it was the only thing I wasn’t a fan of.

Room was was very affordable, convenient, small, without fancy amenities if you need that look elsewhere. Clean and the host and family were gracious and nice people. If your just looking for a place to rest close to everything with the basics look no further.

Great location for traveling downtown. My Uber was never over $12. Perfect little apartment style unit.
