Stayed Jul 12, 2025My husband and I were in town visiting family with our Miniature Australian Shepherd for 3 nights. This place has been lovingly cared for in a beautiful quiet neighborhood that we loved walking through daily. It’s close to downtown. The bedding was comfortable and we slept well. It is stocked with everything you need including coffee. Backyard is fully fenced with a lovely deck and was great for our dog. We now know why it’s a guest favorite as it’s now one of our favorite stays and would love to return the next time we visit family.

Stayed Mar 20, 2025Conveniently located in the Historic District - a short drive or walk to many outstanding shops and restaurants. Host lives next door and was very neighborly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed a bottle of wine with host on comfortable deck overlooking fenced yard. Unit is dog-friendly and is one of the cleanest we have encountered. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again. Our standard poodle Blaze also approves this property.

Stayed Oct 23, 2024Great place for stay, particularly with pets as there is a nice fenced in yard. Lovely and safe area to walk among old craftsman, Victoria, and small cottages. All amenities available onsite tho shopping close by. Will stay again when visiting family in the area!

Stayed Apr 30, 2024This was the perfect location for our needs. My husband was having open-heart surgery and we stayed the Blue Heron the night before so we wouldn't have to worry about traffic. I continued to stay on for a few days later to be close to the hospital - it was only .8 of a mile away! The home is nicely laid out with all the comforts you might need, including farm fresh eggs, pastries, and coffee. The home is in the historic district, not far from schools, so it was quiet and I felt safe staying there alone. The spacious and well-lit kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, and there is a charming outdoor space to hang out in the evenings. Plenty of towels - and the basic toiletries are provided. And I loved the touch lamps with USB/Plugs for charging devices. All in all, it was an extremely pleasant stay and if I were in a similar situation again, I wouldn't hesitate to book this charming home.
