Location was great. Bathroom is very small and difficult to maneuver around. Listing stated rollaway bed and futon, which were there, but an adult would have issues sleeping on these. They would be ok for a small child. There were no wash clothes and very little number of towels. The location to public transportation was fantastic.

Loved the neighborhood and proximity to the Light Rail. One of the best hosts we've ever had. Great communication and very helpful tips! Great view of the city from the apartment. It takes between 30-60 minutes to get to various places in Manhattan (depending on where you're going). Could be longer during peak times. We were there in Dec.close to Christmas so it was about as busy as it gets there. We had 2 adults and 3 teenagers. The apartment was just right for our group.

It was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was small but overall, much better than staying at a hotel. Safe and quiet neighborhood with free street parking or reasonable parking in a lot with security around the corner. Close to trains, restaurants, and small markets. Host was wonderful and very responsive, providing neighborhood info and recommendations beforehand. I’d recommend this place to others and stay here again.

The property is conveniently located, several restaurants and a 'market' within a short walking distance. I walked to the light rail - to the Exchange to get train to NYC - even on the day I arrived! The view of the skyline is accurate - can be seen from the kitchen and from one of the bedrooms.

Really loved staying in New Jersey. Only a short walk to the tram to get to the PATH to cross to Manhattan. NJ is much quieter and cooler.Apartment was great, we had such a lovely stay.

Had a great stay at the property. Was perfect for our family of four. Just a few minutes to walk to the train to get you to the city. Everything was clear and the host was always quick to respond to questions beforehand. Bathroom is a bit small, but I’d take that with all the additional space in the apartment over a hotel room where we’re all on top of each other. I would recommend this spot to others.

This place is a 10/10 for what it is. It's the second floor of a two-story, traditional Jersey City house. Not too many frills, but a homey place to stay if you're looking for a homebase in NJ/NYC. Full kitchen, good-sized bedrooms and a small living room. Parking was easy on the street and its walking distance to the light rail and some cute stores and restaurants. Thank you for a great stay!

This home was in a great neighborhood with no concerns for safety. Uber transfer to the train station is about 10min and straight shot into the city.

The property was perfect for us because it was so close to our son’s home. Additionally, it is walking distance from Liberty State Park and Ellis Island. Although it was winter, the walk was lovely and I could imagine how pretty it must be in the spring and summer. The cute, quirky house was clean, entry was easy, and the environment was super quiet, despite the occasional train, which I didn’t even notice until Day 3. Entry is up a fairly steep stairway so my husband and I (seniors) shared in the luggage transport. Although some of the floors had a slant to them, we didn’t find this a problem. There is storage space in the bathroom as the mirror hides a cabinet and the shelves with the towels can be used for storage, too. The bathroom is tiny, but as small people, we had no trouble. Even in winter, we had to turn off most of the heaters as the home stays comfortable (cool-ish) without heat and can be made as warm as you like. Furniture-wise, the beds were embracing in the dark, quiet rooms. Only one bedroom has a dresser and closet. The other has a desk. There is plenty of floor space for the cot. There are no coffee tables or end tables in the living room, but I assume that is so the couch can be folded out (although I did not check that). My husband made coffee in the kitchen, but otherwise, we didn’t use it, so can’t comment on that room other than to say the table is a high top and the chairs are accordingly tall. Communication was excellent.

Provided great instructions on navigating light rail and PATH to get into the city. Once we did it a couple times it was easy to plan transportation. Quiet neighborhood close to the city.
