Stayed Jul 26, 2025We had a very nice stay at the resort. Our family was very happy with everything. The flat is well maintained and the kitchen has everything you need. With two bedrooms, large balcony and the outstanding terrace, it was perfect for a family (4 persons). The sea can be reached in about 5 minutes through a nice forest. Shopping facilities nearby. We highly recommend the piazza of Pizzo. The Italian charm is given here. We thank Brendan very much for letting us visit this marvellous place and will try to be in Pizzo again.

Stayed Aug 9, 2018We found our stay at the Pizzo Beech Club completely relaxing. The property was a good base, had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. If I'm honest, as a family of four with two teenagers, a bit more living space inside would have been nice, but the roof terrace provided a great additional space and we spent most of our family time there. A big plus was the property's private wifi as the resort wifi wasn't very good. Just a shame it didn't reach the roof terrace. Pizzo Beech Club itself was incredibly relaxing and felt very safe with the gated access. again it is clean and tidy. Lots of space at the two pools and never struggled to get a sunbed. Also lovely to have the private beech space just a short walk away. The complex staff were very helpful, especially Rachel (English speaking) on reception. The complex is sandwiched between two other resorts. At night their music could be heard from the roof terrace, but it provided us some entertainment as well. Once inside with the A/C on it couldn't be heard. The family enjoyed a very relaxing holiday.

Stayed Jul 14, 2018This is a lovely apartment for a family of 4. We travelled by train from Naples to Vibo Valentia Pizzo station and got a taxi there. It's about 7km but cost us 60 euros by the rip off taxi drivers! We were welcomed by Nervosa - the agent, who is absolutely lovely and very helpful. She helped us organise other taxis, etc. (We had cancelled our car hire in Naples after we saw the drivers, but in Pizzo it's not so bad. You do really need a car for this apartment as it is a bit out on a limb.) The kids loved the two pools, especially the slide. There is a small restaurant on site serving pizza at teatime, amongst other pastas and fish type dishes. There's not a huge menu but it's not badly priced. The apartment is well equipped and maintained. Everything was very clean. There was one annoyance only - a squeak on the water system. There is a great roof terrace and BBQ. We enjoyed the apartment but it was a little quiet in the evenings for our kids. There was no entertainment at all which I should have checked out a bit more. But it meant we had to talk to each other which was actually really great! We wouldn't go back as a family, but if my husband and I could go on our own (with a car), this place is ideal. And brilliant communications by the owner. Thank you

Stayed Dec 31, 1969pizzo beach club is about 15-20 minutes drive from lamezia airport heading towards SS18. easy to find. the apartment was clean, air con (lounge and master bedroom) on the first floor with a lovely terrace to enjoy the views. we had most of our breakfast upstairs and evening drinks there. great spot to relax. we have enjoyed the apartment and was clean and immaculate, there was umbrellas and some kids toys, tennis rackets for the kids to play with and all provided. was a hit with the kids. beds were comfortable, well equipped kitchen, there is also a washing machine available. satellite tv with various channels but to be fair we did not use it much so can't give more details. also private WIFI which was handy. the resort I would say is a 3/4 stars not 5 stars as advertised. there is two pools near by and main one with slides which was a hit with our kids but slides only open from 11-12 and 1600-1800 daily. there is one small shop by the main pool where you can by beer, wine, ice creams etc...and main restaurant opens from 12-1400 lunch and 1900-2200 dinner. did not eat there so cant comment, fairly reasonable but not as cheap as pizzo town or surrounding areas. Car is essential for this destination which was clear from the beginning. great part of southern Italy and we enjoyed it very much. We will be returning next year for longer this time. One things to bare in mind, pizzo beach club is near an all inclusive butlins style resort where the music from the entertainment is very loud, it starts from 11AM-3PM AND then the worst is between 2000-midnight where the singing can be overwhelming, personally did not bother me, got used to it but drove my wife mad. the singer could not hit a note..... when you are in the terrace you could hear it very loud and clear. it is particularly bad in JULY-to mid September. Apart from this minor issue, the whole experience was great and would recommend staying here. Mr Keenan was informative and great to deal with. thank you.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Everything was exactly how we'd expected and what we'd seen in the pictues. The apartment with the roof terrace is fantastic. There is everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing holiday including beach towels and free sun loungers on the beach. The pool was clean and almost empty all the time and the sea was clear and warm, too. The owner is kind and his representative Tom was at hand if we needed anything.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We had a very pleasant stay. When we arrived, we were very well received. The agent took time to show us around. It was a great service! The appartment was well equipped. It was clean and nice and there is plenty of space inside as well as outside. The only thing we missed, was a grill. We loved using the great terraces, the pools, the football- & tennis courts and the beach. The only complaint is about the lady at the poolbar. She was angry at everyone who didn't speak italian perfectly. But she was very kind to italian customers. Strange person! But overall we had a very very nice stay at the Pizzo Beach Club!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Having read the description of the apartment and its local environment we had a good idea of what to expect and were not disappointed. Pizzo Beach Club is about 30 minutes drive from Lamezia airport and is easy to find. The apartment is bright, fresh and clean, well equipped and with quality furnishings. The kitchen area has a good size fridge and freezer, a full size oven and a gas hob with 4 rings which was ideal for home cooking. The main bedroom has a king size bed and there are two single beds in the second bedroom which are very comfortable. All the windows and patio doors have mosquito net protectors so we were able to have windows open during the warm evenings without fear of bites. The spacious roof terrace is an added bonus and is equipped with sun loungers and seating and is ideal for sunbathing. The sandy beach is about 7 minutes walk through a shady pine forest. The beach is long and wide, although there is some light shingle along the sea edge. Because we were there during the early part of the season we had the pool and the beach largely to ourselves but the on-site restaurant was not open. However, there are plenty of places to eat out in the historic town of Pizzo which is about 20 minutes drive away. We visited the beautiful town of Tropea which is about 60 minutes drive and the hill town of Filadelfia where there was an international music festival. Booking the apartment was very easy through the internet and responses were always prompt, helpful and friendly; so too was the on-site reception desk and local rep. There were three adults in our party and we found the apartment very comfortable. For those who like a relaxing beach holiday with good self-catering facilities and access to the historic towns and beaches along the Calabrian coast, the apartment is an ideal place to stay.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We liked the appartment in Pizzo Beach club a lot. It was me and three of my kids,9,17 and 22 and my bigger sister who rented it. It was situated very good near the smaller swimmingpool,so the 9 year old daughter could go there herself. We are mostly beach lovers, and the beach, only 4 min walk away,in that area is very nice, clear water, there were plenty of free sunchairs belonging to the beach club ,neiborgh is Club Meditarrane and they always picks the good beaches for their clubs! We had a few meals at the restaurant by the bigger pool and they made the perfect spagetti Vongole for us,very friendly staff. We are big cooking good food home family, there are not any nearby shops, but we decided not to rent a car,a very sweat Conchetta, who spoke good enough english took us shopping, and those taxidrives with her was less than renting a car with inscurance. She is listed in the information book in the appartment, she also helped me out to find internet wich I needed for my work, and with my poor italian she was the saviour! She was a huge help during our stay. She knows the area more than well, knows were to get whatever you need. The terassa on top of the flat is also very nice. A little minus in the flat was that it was not totally equipped with kitchen utilitys,BUT we are also the big making food at home family,so if you just stay there to make breakfast and some small meals it is good enough. We also lacked chairs and tables for the balcony, there was on the terass, but you have to climb a staircase to reach it. Pizzo in all made us want to by something there in the future. Mari Molander
