Directions

Avalon Airport is the closest airport to Geelong. It is 21km from Geelong and it will take approximately 20 minutes by car to the apartment. Avalon airport shuttle can offer door to door service.

If driving from Avalon Airport, follow the signs to Geelong and they will lead you to Princes Highway.
Keep left into Geelong into Bell Parade which will take you around Corio Bay. At Deakin University turn right into Gheringhap Street then left into Brougham and then left down Cunningham Street. Pier Point apartments are located at the end on the right.

Parking for 1 car is available in our secure undercover car park at no extra charge.

Things to Do around Geelong

Across the road is scenic Corio Bay and Cunningham Pier. Eastern Beach is a short stroll along Corio Bay.A beach, pool and enclosed semi-circle promenade offers swimming and a nice walk. Also there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants and the famous Bollards.

A few minutes away is Westfield and Market Square shopping centres, Royal Geelong Yacht Club, Botanic Gardens and the Geelong Art Gallery,the National Wool Museum and the Ford Museum. The Tourist Information Centre is located in the National Wool Museum on the corner of Moorabool and Brougham Streets, one block behind PierPoint Apartments.

Deakin University has Costa Hall where many functions are held.
East Geelong Golf Course and the Botanic Gardens are within 1 klm.
Further away is Adventure Park, Wineries, Bellarine Peninsula beaches.

    Apartment was perfect for our stay, perfect location for the wedding we attended . Shower was hot with good pressure, bed was very comfortable. The little extras like wine just topped it all off

    Arrived in Geelong by ferry. Pier Point apartment opposite ferry terminal. Met by owner who explained the workings of accommodation. Place beautifully presented, clean and suitable for us. Recommend it highly.

    Last minute (48 hours) advice by owner of significant building works despite our advanced booking of ~12 months. Views of dust and dirt, scaffolding blocking any view and majority of light. completely different to images advertised. Owners opinion is that this treatment was acceptable and fair. NOT RECOMMENDED.

    A very well equipped apartment right in the epicentre of Geelong’s bayside precinct. The apartment is very comfortable, generously furnished, and secure but accessible. It is only a short walk from any of the cbd shops and restaurants. The environment is relatively quiet when considering all the infrastructure immediately outside. We had an enjoyable weekend here and would definitely recommend.
