The Space:

All of our Blockhouse Units are focused on an eco-friendly design. We are proud to provide you with a ‘Net-Zero’ living experience, meaning we have almost completely eliminated our carbon footprint, and produce more energy than we consume. Whether it be through forest restoration, recycled materials, or utilizing solar energy; BlockhouseLife is placed in the community, for the community. And rest assured, you can expect to find all the comforts of home while living the BlockhouseLife experience.



Guest Access:

You’ll be staying in the Pacific Studios; our micro-studios designed with our travelers in mind. You’ll have the entire unit to yourself. Each unit comes with its own private entrance, private bathroom, and a stocked kitchenette. The unit is accessed via smart-lock for your security and peace of mind. Free on-street parking is available in the friendly Perry District neighborhood.



The Neighborhood:

Spokane has slowly been transforming, and the South Perry District was one of the first neighborhoods to come into its own. Not long ago, the district was a rundown area. It’s now thriving, filled with funky shops and eateries, and it’s one of the most diverse places in Spokane. Conveniently located just south of downtown, it’s an easy Lime scooter or drive.



Getting Around:

At BlockhouseLife, we encourage all our guests to ‘live-eco’ and check out all the alternative modes of transportation. Our partnerships with the City of Spokane and other businesses provide our guests with simple and convenient transportation options. This includes;



-Blockhouse ride-sharing station

-Electric scooters/bikes

-Located in a safe & walkable neighborhood



Other Things to Note:

Do note that this is tiny-living at its finest. This may get you out of your normal comfort zone! Which is something we here at BlockhouseLife fully encourage; to seek discomfort and challenge the status quo. Now that being said, going tiny doesn’t mean sacrificing on any amenities and luxuries of home.     We stayed one night, so, short but sweet! Location is in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood, with a couple of excellent places to eat/drink a short walk away. Everything was as described in the listing. Google maps will get you close to the parking area, but not exactly there -- but it's easy to figure out. Pretty convenient to I-90. We (including our 12-year old nervous rescue doggie) were very happy with our stay!

    Our visit at Blockhouse was absolutely perfect. The design and decor is tastefully done, and includes everything you could possibly need in a perfectly contained space. The area is quiet but active with walkable restaurants, breweries and even a weekly farmers market. We had a last minute hiccup that delayed our trip, and Blockhouse was incredibly accommodating and fast acting to make sure we could adjust our stay. Can not wait for our next visit!

    A quiet place to stay with a location not too far from some traditional and eclectic shopping destinations. Various restaurants literally less than a block away. Easy to lose your sense of time as you relax in these wonderful accommodations.

    Overall great place. Quiet and clean, with great eateries a short walking distance. Lighting arrangement could be better, as there is only one set of bright ceiling lights. Would be nice to have individual reading lights and dimmer on the ceiling lights.
