Stayed Sep 21, 2025We are repeat renters and we absolutely love this property. I highly recommend renting both the upstairs and downstairs for your large group needs. It’s on a quiet street, close to beach access and along a bike path. It’s big enough to accommodate large groups while still giving everyone privacy. We made even more memories this year and are already looking to book it again next year.

Stayed Mar 8, 2025This apartment is as cozy as it looks on the website. Kitchen is fully stocked and we easily made most of our meals here. I wish the listing mentioned that dogs are not allowed at the beach on Tybee at all, but I fully take responsibility for not checking on that myself. Wonderful stay!

Stayed Feb 28, 2025Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: So roomy and comfortable. Four of us and our dog loved this nicely designed upstair unit. The kitchen is large and equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch and swing! Fenced back yard is perfect for a dog. The only issue was dish washer was not working...we called management company and hopefully that has been resolved. Would definitely rent Wish Upon a Starfish again.

Stayed Jun 4, 2024Comfortable beach house 3 blocks from the beach. Beautiful kitchen for preparing meals. Grocery store is a few blocks away. Pillows for beds need upgrading, we did have several roaches in bathrooms and bedrooms. I hear these are common in Georgia. We also found ants on coming into one bathroom. Washer and dryer work great. Overall enjoyable stay.

Stayed Apr 20, 2022We enjoyed our stay at the Starfish. It is just two blocks from the beach and walking distance to a fantastic taco place. The owners sent all needed information early and communicated all the way through the stay. The house was spacious with enough room for my family of 4. Loved the front porch and the backyard firepit.

Stayed Mar 6, 2022We had a great experience. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were very nice, the fire pit was wonderful on a cool evening. We have people with special diets so needed to cook our meals. The kitchen was stocked with all we needed to cook and bake, including a blender and crockpot! All this with a short walk to the beach.
