What an unforgettable stay! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The host, Maria, was waiting for us with the keys and to show us the apartment. She was welcoming, kind and very responsive from beginning to end. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and filled with thoughtful touches that made us feel instantly at home. The location couldn’t have been better — just steps from incredible tapas bars, local markets, and all the charm that Barcelona has to offer. And enjoying the balcony was amazing. Thank you for creating such a special space — we’ll absolutely be back and will recommend it to everyone we know! ¡Muchas gracias!

We were quite comfortable at Maria's place. It was sparkling clean and the bed was very comfortable. For an apartment building, it was very quiet. We seldom heard neighbors. The terrace was the crowning jewel! Pastries, coffee and water were left for us. Maria met us when we arrived to give us the keys and picked them up at checkout. She was kind enough to call us a taxi pretty early in the morning so we could catch our train. The apartment is close to a metro stop and it is easy to manage. There are numerous restaurants and, most importantly, gelato shops nearby. We highly recommend Maria and her place.

We loved staying here for our first visit to Barcelona! The host was amazing at communication before and during our visit. The home was well equipped with everything we could need and it was in a great location to reach every sight we wanted to see. The host even took time to settle us in and tell us about local restaurants she would suggest. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Marie J was a great host. The apartment is perfectly located between multiple metro stations - which we used extensively while we were there. Tip- buy the Hola Barcelona card before you arrive to set yourself up for easy transportation. Recommend the apartment - we loved it

We loved this property and the owner. Perfect for our 2 days of exploration. Arrived early and was able to store luggage which was perfect. Owner had a repair estimate and backed our check-in up by an hour and a half which was a bit inconvenient as we had already had the full day out and about and were anxious for 4:00 check-in not 5:30. She helped us vacate by ordering our cab for us. We really appreciated her assistance.

The balcony was wonderful and we spent lits of time sitting and enjoying the beautiful weather and views. We eeven did some laundry in provided washer and hung to dry in sun! Highly recommend!

Excellent rental all around! Book it!Maria was the perfect host, communicating with me months in advance. She was extremely helpful and very accommodating, especially when allowing us to check-in hours ahead of schedule. She was extremely personable, understanding, and had many great recommendations for places to see, things to do, and awesome restaurants to grab a drink and some tapas.The apartment itself was super clean and well appointed. The rooms were comfortable and very nicely decorated. The place was freshly painted and really attractive overall. There was a good sized kitchen and dining area, though the best part of the entire place might be the large terrace/balcony where you could enjoy a meal in the nice weather.The neighborhood seemed very safe and quiet. The apartment building is gated and the lobby doors are always locked. The street it’s on is not busy with vehicular traffic and is quite pedestrian friendly. All this, and yet the place is centrally located; very close to restaurants, shops, bakeries, supermarkets, and the must-see Mercat de Sant Antoni. The Metro stop and main street where you can catch the bus or a taxi are a block and a half away. It’s quite walkable to everything you might need and not too far from the city’s popular attractions.We did not need to do laundry though the option was there. There’s a TV with local and cable channels, Netflix, etc. Wi-Fi was strong and reliable. The apartment has a strong air conditioning unit if needed.

Very nice place and close to a lot of good stuff. Ma Jesus was a wonderful connection, with a lot of great ideas and followed up on everything. I would highly recommend.

The contact with Maria was Fabulous, she worked with us and did a great job explaining the check in & out process. We sat outside on the beautiful patio every night. My wife even did few loads of laundry.

We really enjoyed the proximity of the apartment to all major attractions and metro lines. It was really easy to find our way around. The apartment was well equipped and suited us nicely. The best part was having the large deck to sit in the evenings and enjoy a glass of wine. María was very helpful with all our needs. She welcomed us well and answered all our questions. My family and I had an amazing experience in Barcelona. It started by Maria’s Apartment. It was spotless clean, very organized and it had all we needed. We were a family of 5. 3 adults and two kids (15 and 13 years old). Maria is super attentive, very detail-oriented, very organized. The location of the apartment is excellent. I would definitely stay there again!

We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful roof top outdoor space and convenient location (near metro station, cafe and grocery store on the same block), but the best part of our stay was the manager. She was very responsive and helpful, made sure everything was provided that we needed (especially coffee) and gave a lot of great suggestions and recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.

We had a lovely time at Maria's place. The apartment is ideally located - in a nice, safe and quiet and leafy area but with easy access to the city via the metro if you don't fancy the 20 minute walk to the main sights. Maria is the perfect host and we were grateful for her meeting us at the apartment to ensure check in was smooth. The apartment itself is fully equipped which made it a perfect base for us to explore in the day, then come back to cook, eat and relax on the huge terrace by night. We had a wonderful time :)

María was an excellent hostess, and we really enjoyed being in a quiet flat that was nearby to what we wanted to do in Barcelona as well as some excellent transport links to further away. If we were to come back I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else!

We loved our stay in Maria's apartment. It was very close to a Metro station which made it very convenient to get around Barcelona. It also had a wonderful patio and a washing machine which we used. It was great to be able to hang our clothes on the line to dry. Maria was extremely helpful in giving us advice about how to get to different attractions in Barcelona. We loved our stay there!

Maria had everything we needed to make our stay in Barcelona perfect! The apartment was beautiful and functional. The large balcony was a definite plus!! The neighborhood was quiet and also close to the bus and metro stations, which was very convenient. We would recommend!

This was our second visit to Barcelona in 2 years and our accommodations were perfect. There is not another single thing you could need in a rental. VERY well stocked and spotlessly clean. Had to contact Maria once during the stay, but she responded within mins (and it was after 11pm). Neighborhood is safe and easy walking to distance to trains and buses.

The apartment was great. I did not like having to meet the owner, filling out and signing forms (should be taken care of at booking on VRBO, seems too late to be signing anything), and paying a tourist tax in cash. VRBO says that all of the listings in Barcelona have all fees included. It felt like I had to pay the owner cash in order to get the keys.

Maria has provided the apartment with every thing you need. The beds were so comfortable. The apartment has been recently renovated and looks great. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Maria

This was the best VRBO we ever stayed in. It was clean and tastefully decorated. Maria was kind, professional and thought of everything. The neighborhood was lovely with a coffee shop right there and lots of restaurants close by, easy to walk to. We loved the balcony and the main bed was super comfy.

WOW!!! Maria is a wonderful host, She went above and beyond to make our precruise stay amazing. From letting us check in early after a long overnight flight from Toronto, to arranging our cab to the cruise port. The apartment is amazing. It is newly updated, and very clean. beds are comfortable, and the apartment is very peaceful. Added bonus is the coffee shop on the ground floor. We easily walked to the hop on hop off bus in 20 minutes.

The stay was great, the owner met us to let us in. She explained everything we needed to know, and was easy to communicate with if we had a question. Maria went out of her way during checkout even though we were the ones with complications, and she even helped us sort them out by organizing a taxi for me to the airport. I would love to come back and stay again.

Sweet Maria made sure our check in and out processes were seamless. The apartment is on the 8th floor but there’s an elevator. Apartment has everything my family needed for a home away from home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Barcelona. Will definitely would like to stay here again

Great location. A 20 minute walk to the Harbourfront and Aquarium; or to the Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas. 10 minutes walk to lots of cafes and shops.

A wonderful flat in a very cool neighborhood. Roof top terrace was great. Host Maria very helpful throughout. Quieter than some neighborhoods, my choice, but close to the sites, metro and lots of restaurants.

Nice 3 bed apartment in private block. Good location, close but not too close to tourist centre of the city. Would consider staying there again next time I visit the city.

Maria’s place is cozy and right in the center of the St. Antoni neighborhood. The apartment is gated and has 2 locked doors, so is very secure. We enjoyed the convenience to The Metro, great pizza(La Piccolina) and Sangria(Taps). It was good to have easy access to the heart of the city, yet further from the crowds.

We had a wonderful stay in Maria's home! Close to shops and transport in a lovely residential area, we could easily access the attractions while avoiding the throngs of tourists. Her home was very clean and allowed us a quiet place to relax. We were there for 10 nights, and felt we had plenty of room. The kitchen was well-equipped and we were able to take advantage of the local markets. We also enjoyed a number of excellent restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!

Maria’s apartment was a perfect place to stay in Barcelona. The neighbourhood is quaint and has everything you could need, from fresh fruit to a very close Tube stop. Maria has tastefully decorated her apartment, is very communicative and provides all touches of home, including tea and coffee.

If you are reading this review - BOOK THIS APARTMENT! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Maria and her apartment. Even before our arrival Maria was communicative and helpful. When we got there she took time to show us around the apartment, how to lock doors, and gave us advice on where my friend could find a dress for a wedding after the airline lost her bag. She also took care to meet when was best for us as we were leaving and was kind enough to call us a cab. The apartment itself is unreal. Spotless, roomy, comfortable beds, a gorgeous bathroom, and with the most perfect outdoor patio - it almost felt too good to be true. It is located in a great area near many bars and restaurants (but still so quiet at night) and a metro station. Also the perfect distance from a busy street that has many taxis around. If I ever returned to Barcelona I would seek out this apartment again to rent. A word of advice for Americans - if you stay in the summer you will be very warm. The air conditioning is only in the primary living space and does not really spread to the bedrooms. This was our last stop in Europe so we were prepared for it and somewhat adjusted to the heat, but do not expect to be super comfortable right away. Even still I would stay here again.

This penthouse was perfect for our needs. We had plenty of room for 4 adults. The penthouse was very clean. It was well stocked with the essentials and had some welcome goodies. The location to transportation was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 4 (kids 12,16) loved staying in this fabulous location--not right in the centre, but in a quieter but interesting area with plenty of cafes and 10 minute walk to popular Pinchos, Carrer Blai, 20 min walk to Pl Catalunya. Maria was very proactive and helpful. She contacted us ahead of our visit and gave us advice about getting to the apartment. She was waiting for us outside at midnight and waived our late fee since it was outside of our control. Maria then explained everything about getting into the building, using the small lift and all the features of the apartment, including the TV, coffee machine and a box of Horchata to try. Maria also gave us a mini Metro map and explained where to go. During the stay, we also contacted Maria on What's App for recommendations for food and pools and took the time to provide useful tips and called us a taxi at the end and waited for us to get in. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated with everything we needed. Our favourite part was the plant-filled terrace, where we could eat and drink at the long table in comfortable chairs, looking out at a spectacular view of the neighbourhood street and high rise buildings, making us feel like we were living in Barcelona for a bit, rather than just visiting. Also handy to have a washing machine and washing line. Our only disappointment is that is was too hot at night in bedrooms; the AC was only in the kitchen. But we had a great time and were grateful for Maria's help.

We had the best stay at this cozy and comfortable 3 bedroom and 1 bath apartment. It was located just 3 minutes walk from the subway and close to many restaurants and a few markets. There is also a coffee shop right downstairs. Our host Maria was waiting for us right when we arrived, gave a detailed description of the apt amenities, had some drinks and snacks for us and arranged a taxi for us to the train station on our departure date. The apt is well stocked with everything we needed.It was a small but very comfortable apt and we enjoyed our stay.
