Penthouse Via del Monte della Farina with terrace

We left the morning after check-in because the apartment didn’t meet basic cleanliness or comfort standards. Several issues were immediately obvious: the WiFi didn’t work, the walls were dirty, the shower head was broken, and there were no sheets for the pull-out couch or the infant bed. There was also only one set of keys for three adults.The biggest concern was overall cleanliness. The apartment had a strong musty smell, and there was an extra couch in the living room that wasn’t shown in the listing. It was heavily stained and in very poor condition, which made us seriously question the hygiene of the space—especially since we were traveling with a baby. The host was responsive, but the solutions offered didn’t address these core issues.Based on our experience, I would not recommend this listing.

Great place, convenient location

We had a wonderful stay in Rome, this apartment is A for location and communication with management - safe and lovely neighborhood steps away from everything but tucked away from traffic and tourists on a side street, we walked almost everywhere and discovered fantastic restaurants within blocks. Apartment isn’t fancy in terms of furnishings which was fine with us, but it could def use a few upgrades and fixes to make guests more comfortable (extra towels in apt would be good, had very sparse kitchen supplies- no wine opener, only an expresso one cup coffee maker, etc). If you visit in warmer weather the terrace is amazing. The mgmt was quick to respond to the couple issues we had. We would stay here again, Grazie!

This apartment was perfect for my family's visit to Rome this summer. The location is central without being noisy or busy, with a fantastic wine bar right down the street and many restaurants and sights nearby. The apartment itself was everything we expected - we couldn't get the elevator to work, but that was no big deal. There were stairs to the 3rd floor apt, but it wasn't a problem for us. We loved the roof deck and spent alot of our time up there. (Some previous reviewers noted the old furniture and patio umbrella but they have since been replaced - everything up there was new, clean and great. Lots of chairs and tables for many people to be up there at once.) The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised at how quiet this apartment was, and the A/C worked well. We loved this apartment.

We had 4 adults with plenty of space for everyone and the roof terrace was a wonderful extra bonus. Easy walk to everything and host is very responsive. Would book again!

Great place to stay, and use as a home base.
