Stayed Jul 29, 2024We arrived on a particularly sweltering day. I had been in attending a Croatian wedding and I was on day 4 (they last at least a week). We got there slightly too early and I had been terrible at communicating with Marija (she was on it, I wasn’t). It was extremely hot even by local standards. She sat me down on her patio and immediately offered me juice. It’s not a huge gesture but it’s these small acts of kindness I’ve come to associate with the Croatian people (well, that and the best lamb I’ve ever had). Everything was great, AC in every room, location is perfect. It’s just far enough from the port that drunks aren’t screaming all night but it’s before the extremely hilly parts of the adjacent residential area. 10/10, would stay again.
