Peace and Quiet on the Fremont River

Nice quiet stay. Place was clean with easy access. Good space for dog to roam.

This location was great for Capitol Reef NP. We enjoyed the river and mountain view. The host was quick to reply and provide necessary details. The unit doesn't have a controlled heating system but a space heater is provided. It was convenient to park outside the door and its first floor. The bed was comfortable but the pillows could be updated! They provided drinking water and ice in the frig. It was easy to relax and enjoy the sights.

Perfect for a quick 2 night stay, as most of our time was spent outdoors. We have a family of five, and though it was a slightly tight space (but we knew that going into it and we brought an air nattress), it was still worth it due to excellent location to the national park.

This vrbo was perfect for a trip to Capitol Reef NP! It was so spacious and incredibly clean! The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you might need to cook. The bed was comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful!! The hosts were great, we will definitely start again if we’re back in Torrey!! A really great stay.

The place was as shown. Great location on the river, just a minute out of town. The host were helpful and knowledgeable. Very close to Capital Reef NP. Would recommend and stay there again.

We had a great stay. The place is close enough to Capital Reef that we could return mid-day if we wanted to.

Great location! Close to Capital Reef NP. Biggest surprise - a couple of first class restaurants in little Torrey, Utah! A nice place to stay, the lower level of the owners home. Quiet and clean. Lacking some kitchen equipment if you want to cook, but I would recommend just going to Hunt & Gather, &/or Chak Balam!

The place was very clean and private. She had LOTS of info for the area that was very helpful! I'd DEFINITELY go back here again if we are in the area!!!!Beautiful views. Only about 12 minutes to Capitol Reef.We had a few questions and the owner answered quickly.Since we were in the basement,we did hear some walking around noise from the floor above, but wasn't that bad. I'm not a huge fan of sponges in the kitchen, so I wish there would have been a dish cloth, but we adapted.

Excellent quiet location on the Fremont river. Spacious and amazing dark sky for astrophotographers. Property owner easy to reach and friendly. Only stayed 2 nights but could definitely stay longer on another trip. We loved it !

Nice place to stay with views over the river. Close to town and Capitol Reef. Clean and comfortable. Bedroom is very dark and great for sleeping.

The Sofabed was a bit short, but ok for one person.The kitchen was ok for little cooking.There is no dishwasher. We liked the place and especially the rocking chair.The bedroom has no daylight,no problem for us. We would come back.

Very nice quiet location. This is a complete separate unit with all listed amenities below a primary residence. The location feels remote and is at the end of a long gravel road. The descriptions are accurate. The place has a pleasant homey feeling. While it feels remote the location is just a few minute drive from the town of Torrey.

The place was just as advertised: Peace and Quiet on the Fremont River. The setting is beautiful and indeed peaceful and quiet. Jan was very responsive to our email requests for information. We would certainly try to stay here again when next in Torrey, Utah.

Our stay in Torrey was wonderful. The little apartment was well-kept and at the back of a beautiful house. We had a lovely view. Torrey is a nice town and perfectly located for us to travel to our hiking destinations.

Property appears isolated, but is just edge of town. View of river and mountains from windows. Binoculars were provided. We were there to hike in Capital Reef which was about 20 minutes away.

Very comfortable apartment, part of a home. Very clean. Very quiet. The owner communicated well. The kitchen had everything we needed (except maybe serving spoons). Nice setting out back. Amazing national park! Gorgeous mountains, trails, and scenery. We'd come back again.

Space was clean and had what we needed to make our meals. There was a table full of information about the area and also some cards for the kids, which they loved.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this gem. Probably works better for 2 people than for 4, but this is a fantastic place to spend a night after a day of exploring Capitol Reef. The views are amazing, communication with the host was great, and we just felt really welcomed.

We had a wonderful time. I am sorry to have left the grill uncleaned. I could not locate the cleaning tools. We very much enjoyed the privacy.

Great stopover to visit Capital Reef

We loved how quiet and the view was awesome. It was so close to Torrey and Capital Reef. Hunt and Gather restaurant so close and an excellent birthday dinner! Great spot want a lovely view and quiet!

This is definitely where I will stay in the future. Beautiful location, private, and had everything I needed and more. The hosts were amazing.

This small apartment at the back of a larger home had all we needed for a short stay with our family of 4. It's very close to Capitol Reef, and the view from the rental was wonderful. We enjoyed watching the wildlife that visited the river. Though connected to the larger house, the rental was quiet and private. We didn't see anyone else from our space at all, and heard only a few sounds from the other living space.
