Stayed Sep 14, 2024Our stay at Mittersteiner Hof was perfect—we stayed a week and wished it were two. Four of us visited the Dolomites for the first time, to experience these incredible mountains and explore the many Via Ferrata routes. Staying at this substantial country house, perched in an enviable position several hundred meters above the valley floor, is a true privilege. Everything about the property is brilliant: fantastic location, beautiful, spacious rooms, peace and quiet, spectacular views, and hosts who make you feel part of the family. Our recommendations: - You'll need a car—Mittersteiner Hof is on a hill. - Try a Via Ferrata—The hosts know the best routes. - Take a sauna at sunset—there's nothing like it. - Try the smoked fish—it will blow your mind. - Stay here—you won't forget it.
