There are also several multi-storey car parks within 300m. With skyline views onto Glassford and Ingram Street, you could not be better placed to fully appreciate everything Glasgow has to offer.



The apartment is located on the fourth floor of a modern building and can be reached by elevator or stairs. The building has security entry and is on one of the quietest streets in the district. Double glazing in all rooms gives a peaceful and quiet atmosphere for such a central location.



The hallway leads to a large double bedroom with king-size bed and plenty of storage. The bedroom is located at the rear of the apartment next to a large and modern bathroom with bath and shower over, all operated from a gas central heating system. The living room has a chic sofa which can be converted to a double sofa-bed. A large screen digital TV and DVD player with a wide range of DVDs gives plenty of entertainment options should you wish to stay indoors. Unlimited wireless internet is complimentary in this apartment.



The kitchen is adjoined to the living room and is equipped to a very high standard with all integrated modern appliances including electric hob and oven, full-size fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer/dryer. There is an elegant breakfast bar with four stools, giving plenty of space for dining in the apartment.



There is no private parking at this apartment but we can offer discounted pre-validated tickets for nearby carparks operated by Q-park and City Parking, which allow guests to park for £6.50 per 24 hours. Further information will be given at check-in or upon request.



The Merchant City is one of the most vibrant areas in Glasgow and is full of diverse and interesting buildings, cafes and restaurants. It is a preferred location to both professional and artistic residents with a number of small galleries and theatres in the area. It is also home to a number of high end boutique style shops and more famous international labels. The apartment looks onto to some of those landmark buildings that were home to the City's Merchants during the 19th Century.



The annual Merchant City Festival and Celtic Connections attract a growing number of visitors each year who enjoy concerts, Scottish Ceilidh dances, comedy events and exhibitions at venues, including the Tron Theatre, the Old Fruitmarket, the Trades Hall, and St. Andrews in the Square.

    I was pleasantly surprised as the flat is a little bigger than even the pictures show and has high ceilings! I was met at the street entry way by the rental agent when I arrived and was given a quick overview of the flat. There is a foyer when you first enter the flat with the living room and kitchen thru a short hallway to the right, the bathroom ahead of you and the bedroom to the left. It was quiet, clean, in good repair and comfortable. The washer/dryer was nice to have and the kitchen had what I needed to eat in. The common area carpets have seen better days with some stains but they were being cleaned when I was there. There are grocery stores and shopping nearby, only 10 minutes walking distance to both train stations and bus depot. Buchanan Street, a pedestrian area is nearby as well with lots of shops and two Subway Stations that can take you to museums and parks.I really enjoyed my stay at Palazzo - Hutcheson Street and would stay again if I returned to Glasgow.

    Wheelchair accessible. Location ideal for shopping and eating out. The layout was very good for a couple. Bed very comfortable. Quiet. Loads of wardrobe space. Carpets looking a bit tired but overall cleanliness very good. Only small niggle shower over bath which made it difficult for me to access. This is our favourite apartment as have stayed in afew.

    The flat was brilliant for us, lovely and clean and in a brilliant location. Kitchen was a good size for making meals while we were away and there was plenty of space for us and our little one. We really enjoyed our stay.

    everything works as you expect it, the house is very clean and the kitchen completely equipped. the living room also is great. shower also great there´s no clothes hangers where to put the jacket when you come home. a scale to weight ingredients when you cook wouldbe a nice touch in the kitchen.

    Location. Layout of apartment The helpfulness of the team and professional friendly approach. Nothing is too much trouble. Also importantly for me this apartment is accessible in that I could park my mobility scooter and walk from the lift to the apartment. Quiet building. Love staying here. Home from home.

    Location is excellent. Cannot get better location in Glasgow city centre. Always safe and good area / street to stay. The service of all GCF owners & employees. Can´t do enough. Remember preferences like previous requests to leave more towels. Accommodate arrival and departure times. Responsive & flexible.

    Well equipped kitchen, cute neighborhood. The property were very clean and has CDs and books. For the location, it is less than 5 min walk to Buchanan street.

    What a wonderful apartment! The location is awesome, really close to restaurants, bars and shopping. The apartment is well laid out and very comfortable. We stayed for two weeks over Christmas and were warm and cozy the whole time. Glasgow City Flats were great to deal with, very helpful and made us feel really welcome. Would highly recommend to others looking to stay in a lovely part of Glasgow.

    This cozy unit has pros and cons. It's hard to beat the location, as it's just a few minutes walk from everything in the city centre, as well as the two main train stations. There is even a restaurant and a brew pub at street level as you walk out the door. The bed unfortunately isn't very comfortable, and the decor is a bit spartan. The hallways of the building are in rough shape as the carpets are covered in stains, but inside the unit it is clean. Bathroom is spacious, and there is a tub/shower. Kitchen seems fine, but we didn't cook during our stay. Communication with owner was good. We were greeted upon arrival and given a brief orientation.
