“Our Nest” comfortable & secluded place to rest - upstair guesthouse.

In a quiet neighborhood that's easy access to everything. It's not a big town in the first place. It's an apartment and it's the perfect size with 2 bedrooms. You can make yourself at home and relax in the evenings. Due to food allergies we cooked, nothing special - microwave or hot plate and it was fine. There's a few restaurants super close - Thai or Barbeque if you need to dash out. It has a car port so that kept the sun and strong rain off the car. It was just a nice place. Host put out some snacks and a nice throw to wrap on while sitting on the porch. Felt like home. Came for vacation just to see the Texas panhandle region and we had a nice time. We are able to make our own fun - not a ton of things to do, but we saw everything from the Canyon to Lubbock to Historic Route 66. Went to the antique shops, museums, the mall, drove around all the neighborhoods to see the lovely houses your money can buy here, drove around the small towns in the region. It's a regional hub so the stores are well stocked. We played a scavenger hunt - how many different banks can Teddy Bear find for a photo. Make your own game of it. Do just normal things around nice people, didn't see one drug anywhere, no one bothered us for money. Relaxing place to see. Very windy of course, but come home, put your feet up, wrap in your blanket on the porch and watch the wind blow the clouds in. It did help to have a home - great choice to stay. The accommodation really could hardly be beat.

Good value for the price. We especially liked the second floor porch, where we had dinner the night of our stay.

The property was very clean and the amenities were beyond belief. There were plenty of towels and all of ones hygiene needs were in place. It is secluded yet not far from the city. It was blessedly quiet. This was the most amazing place that I have ever stayed at. I give it an infinite number of stars and am recommending it to all of my friends and acquaintances. It will be on my Face Book page.

“Our nest” was very clean and comfortable. The perfect little getaway for a weekend retreat in a nice neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again.

Oh my god what a beautiful space to stay! My husband I stopped here on our drive to New Mexico and it was a wonderful overnight stay, very safe and clean and the owners did a great job decorating.

Absolutely gorgeous place! Very clean and cozy. I will never visit the area again and not stay there! Comfortable beds, plush towels, excellent views from patio areas, safe and beautifully decorated. Perfect for a couple or parents with children. No matter what, it's perfect. Close to great restaurants, fast food, gas stations and Walmart. Convenient to almost everything you can think of. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Just a nice little hide away from the world. The 2 different decks gave plenty of space to enjoy coffee in the morning or watching the night fall. Quiet neighborhood and very clean and comfortable.

We stayed at Our Nest for the one night stop between FW and Colorado Springs both directions of our trip. It was very well furnished, great location with nearby restaurants and ease of access. Very private and covered parking. Would definitely stay here again.

Weve stayed in a lot of vacation rentals in many states over the years. The Nest is the best! This is our 2nd time here. Quiet, comfortable, and clean. So thankful to have coffee available, especially when we have a late arrival!

This was my second time to stay. It was awesome.I’m from Denver and the only thing I was disappointed about is the weather is bad getting to Denver and decided to stay 2 more nights. Unfortunately this sweet place was already booked…

Located in a gravel backyard above a large garage, but cute apartment with nice little upstairs patio to sit on. We were there on three 100-degree days, and the air conditioning couldn't keep the place cool, so we didn't sleep very well.

Our second stay at “Our Nest”. We adore it! Very nice, unique property, well maintained, relatively private and reasonably priced. Wht more can you ask? The online listing does not really capture how nice this property is. It is almost like being home. The inside is extraordinarily comfortable and the patio provides a great place to have either, or both, morning coffee or an evening bottle of wine. The owners have made a conscious effort to make their guests’ experience as comfortable as possible. My wife and I appreciate their efforts. We highly recommend “Our Nest”

The nest is adorable, it was so essy to find and get into, and was so cozy and cute! It had everything i needed for the weekend and then some. The location was perfect for me and it was easy to get to and close enough to what I needed for my stay. The host is very responsive and in a timely manner. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay!
