Great place. Would definitely stay again. A+++

Convenient location, across from amazing Eagle Beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available to resorts guests. Property restaurants are excellent. Friendly and great concierge service. Decent casino. Great grocery store nearby. Studio unit smelled a bit musty but otherwise was clean and comfortable.

The place was fine. I didn't like that they didn't inform us that the big pool wasn't available.

We enjoyed our stay and the friendly staff.

The main swimming pool is closed for renovation (Feb 2025) the other two pools open, but very crowded. Expedia did NOT have an updated photo, nor mention the closed pool and we were lead to believe the pool was open. Rooms were nice and it was right across the beach, so easy to get to. Bus stop close and grocery store nearby.

Property is in a prime location on Eagle Beach which is a plus. Certain hotel employees are very friendly, i.e. John the bell man and most of the security personnel. The people that work the shops especially the RedLine Sports shops are rude and disrespectful. Getting a beach Palapa or chair requires you to wake up at 5 am to trek down to the beach and fight for one. Completely opposite what a vacation should be like. Food was average. Drink service was good. Housekeeping is once a week so you have to keep up on your room. Wouldn’t recommend if you’re used to good service and higher end accommodations. For families on a budget, it’s a good choice

Adult pool was closed for repair. Construction of two Pickleball courts were in progress. New walkways also under construction Terrible smell of sewage on the east side of the property.

Wonderful resort

Our entire stay was magnificent. The check in process was pleasant and if you arrive early you are free to leave your bags and use the facilities. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and the use of palapas is an incredible benefit. They'll deliver food and drinks directly to you on the beach.The pool area is fantastic, as is the live entertainment and multiple happy hours.The casino is perfectly sized for the property and offers just enough of what you need.The room is adequate. The walls are super thin but I think that's the case of most properties in this area. The real benefit of this property is the magnificent beach, awesome pool and bar, and the wonderful hospitality.Would highly recommend and visit again!

Stay was excellent. On arrival we were advised we had to give our room up between 11 AM & 4 PM to move, Poor communication at desk-they accommodated the move in 2 1/2 hours and kept our perishables refrigerated. Only suggestion is to advise if a move is planned for the vacation. Christian was very responsive and I'd recommend him anytime. La Cabana and Eagle Beach are the best. Looking forward to returning!

Efficient services, clean hotel and room. Had everything we needed. It was quite the party place, of course. Breakfast at the grill restaurant on the premises was great. Nice to have a cinnabon right by the lobby.

Everything was wonderful - the studio was immaculate and perfect for our needs. It overlooked the pool area which was nice because we could check things out from our balcony but at the same time our room was private and never noisy. The studio was well-equipped with a comfortable bed and spacious shower with great water pressure. We really enjoyed this resort with its proximity to the beach and so many amenities (I think we went to the gelato shop each night!) Beach, pool, amenities, a lovely comfortable space a perfect trip! Recommend 100%!!

My reservation was cancelled 2 days prior to my arrival in Aruba. I found out this listing is through a property manager and the owner had cancelled the reservation, meaning we no longer had a place to rent. So upsetting for such little heads up. Hopefully they can have better communication with owners before putting properties up for rental. Since the resort was fully booked by that time and we were completely on our own to find a new place to stay on a Friday night when we were arriving Sunday afternoon.

The host took care of everything we needed, the unit was great very easy to stay in, the resort is fantastic, you really don't have to leave. Beach, pools, restaurants, casino plus more, very convenient, great place to stay.

Everything was great…I would have liked to be informed about the major “Main pool” renovation taking place throughout our stay…

The location is perfect, the room was clean, neat, and comfortable. A bit disappointed in that there were huge areas blocked off for construction, and no mention or note of that. This included the main pool area. I think that is a pretty big deal, and should have been mentioned. We love the location, with the beach & Super Food being ideal and easy walking.

Place was mid. Beach is phenomenal, except for the raw sewage smell. Resort would have received a 4/5 overall if the pool wasn’t under construction. Room very clean. Service staff responsive to all requests. Manager Christian was a great communicator.

I do not need to say that much. Great beaches, great location, great island. Everything was great.

Everything was wonderful from beginning to end. Check in was seamless, the resort is beautiful and the staff were so friendly. Will definitely be going back and staying at La Cabana again!

This is not a VRBOwner!! This is a fill in organization that wanted us to move our room 4 times in the 11 days we stayed. No ocean view like the pictures. Couldn’t get a hold of owner to complain. Deceitful!!!

The units are great, location great. What we were disappointed with was the pool was closed for renovations leaving small pool which people claimed tables and chairs in the middle of the night taking them all and nothing was done. Palapa's same thing. People going down between 2-4am to take the first couple of rows every day. Waiting for chairs at 6am then leave, come back for an hour and leave again until noon. Families didn't stand a chance getting near the pool or a decent palapa. System for both should be changed.

Property is in a nice location near beautiful beach. It was a construction zone with the pool tore up in the center of the property. The real issue is they force you to switch rooms & you need to vacate from 11-4 which is unacceptable. As a guest you have entered into a contract for those dates.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. 2 nice pickleball courts. The main pool was under construction (this should have been in the listing) and will be for all of 2025. That was not in the listing. They do have a pool open but it is smaller and cramped as there are too few chairs. Otherwise everything was great

The VRBO listing referenced construction during 2021. The listing did not include any mention of the main pool being under construction through Dec 2024. As a result, there was nowhere on the property itself for us to relax. The remaining adult and children's pools were completely overcrowded and any remaining lounge chairs were strewn haphazardly around the property and bombarded by constant construction noise. [2] We should have been notified regarding the need to change rooms during the middle of our stay at time of booking. We were quite surprised and annoyed when we learned this upon our arrival and the staff made little effort to make the change less intrusive to our overall stay [3]. We were given three different and conflicting sets of instructions regarding necessary actions guests were expected to take when a room change was required. The process was quite stressful and some of our perishable items spoiled when they were not handled properly by hotel staff during our transition. (3) Housekeeping was practically non existent.transi

We really enjoyed our time. Restaurants on property were excellent. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The major pool was under construction which obstructs the view at times, however, there was another pool available and we prefer the beautiful beach which was easily accessible. Jeff and Carrie

The resort is nice but we were overall disappointed with the experience. Upon check in, our reservation could not initially be located which was unsettling. The clerk was eventually able to find the reservation after calling “Bluegreen.” We then learned that we would need to vacate our room by 10am the next day and would be put in another room by 4pm. This prevented us from unpacking and buying groceries until we moved to the new room. I was not pleased to have no room for several hours despite paying for an 8 night reservation. It felt like we lost a day. We were told by the staff that this is common practice when booking this resort through VRBO. There was also extensive construction going on at the resort that we were not made aware of when we booked. The property manager did contact me days before our stay and offered an extra night stay, preceding our reservation, at no charge but our flights had already been booked months earlier so it was of no value to us.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed and even more. The pools were excellent.

La Cabana is a nice resort close to the ocean and a lot of fun activities. My stay was to be a studio for 4 days. I was given a one bedroom. But was booked with another property for two of the four days and had to move to another room. Both rooms were one bed room upgrades. I just did not like to move.

We stayed at La Cabana for 4 nights and really enjoyed our time. The room/property were what we expected and Christian was prompt to answer any questions that we had. Will stay again for sure!

The property was nice and clean. The staff was friendly and willing to help with anything you might need. The location to the beach was perfect and easy to get to and restaurants outside the hotel were a quick taxi ride away.

Beautiful view of the pool and beach. It was a very clean property and easy check in/check out process. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come to Aruba.

This is an easy review...! 100% excellent prop. Great communication. All people working there are friendly and helpful. The concierge so great too. Coffee in the morning at Juan Valdez...entertainment on the property too. We loved it and we are planning our next trip back there this weekend! 20 stars!
