On the Mendenhall Wildlife Refuse - bird migration flyway, eagle nests.

Everything was Amazing!! Very quiet neighborhood out of town with the most amazing panoramic view of the mountains, estuary of Gastineau Channel, and a perfect view of Mendenhall Glacier. Loved watching the float planes & helicopters flying around, along with several bald eagles. Watching the extreme tide level changes was also very impressive. The Hosts were very accommodating and helpful with local information for things to do and places to eat..... Wished we would've had more time to just sit on the deck and visit with them and enjoy the scenery. We will definitely book here again !!!

Apartment was as described but the view even better! We spent few days and we could enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets, with the glacier just in front of our eyes:) It was amazing to observe low and hide tide and we even tried to catch some fish! Betty is a great host, she and her husband they try to make a life of travelers easy by leaving some groceries for the ones who come in late, or just so there are basic products available:) Thanks a lot for allowing us to recharge batteries in your place! Oh, have I mentioned eagles and many other birds flying around all the time like it was a bird highway?

This was a tremendous stay and we couldn't have been more pleased with our booking. Betty and Mark were fantastic hosts and were extremely welcoming and helpful. The views are incredible and the entire place is cozy, clean, comfortable and made for an excellent stay. Highly recommended!

Amazing view and awesome place! Betty was super friendly and very responsive. The apartment was the most well-stocked place I’ve ever stayed in. Betty took a lot of care in stocking everything you might need. The view is jaw-dropping!

Betty and Mark are lovely people. They are friendly and helpful. The apartment was in excellent condition. It is a studio apt., not a one-bedroom, as listed. Access for seniors or anyone with mobility issues is very difficult. There are 43 steps to be negotiated to get into or out of the apartment. This is outside in the elements. My wife has a bad back and a bad knee. This was very difficult and was not disclosed in the listing! Climbing the stairs nearly crippled her! Had we known this in advance, we would not the booked here.

Description was very accurate. Great location, close enough to downtown Juneau, but located in the middle of nature. The accommodations were great, modern and spotless. Amenities were over the top. Will definitively stay here again in the future.

We loved our stay! Betty & Mark were sweet and made sure we had everything needed. The apartment was very clean and in a nice neighborhood. Our favorite part was the view!! We watched eagles everyday and you can see the Mendenhall glacier as well.

Lovely stay in Juneau. Clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with beautiful views. The apartment had so many thoughtful touches, it felt like a home away from home. Perfect for exploring Juneau. Hosts were wonderful: kind, helpful, communicative. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend this well equipped, comfortable, clean property in an excellent setting!! The view was simply stunning. The hosts were very easy to deal with. Apartment was well stocked with every need anticipated and there weren’t extensive check out instructions. Very happy renter!
