You live in the oldest half-timbered house in Wernigerode, right in the center. The house from 1546 has been lovingly restored for you with historical materials such as clay, old floorboards, doors, etc. The unique location with an old linden tree and the fountain in front of the house are the ideal starting point for your vacation. The 90 square meter apartment is located on the first floor, where you will be welcomed by a spacious hall, where the two bedrooms and the bathroom are located. Aconvenient staircase leads to the attic, where the kitchen / living / dining area is located. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee machine, toaster, kettle, stove with ceramic hob, oven and fridge with freezer. In the living area, a cozy leather corner sofa, fireplace and LED sat TV awaits you. The bedrooms are furnished with double beds and have wall heating. The spacious bathroom has underfloor heating, a towel dryer and a large shower 1.40 x 1.00. You can park your car in the car park 3 minutes away for 1, - € per day. It is about 10 minutes from the main train station to the apartment. The market place with the historic town hall, cafes, bakery, butcher, supermarket, restaurants, train station to Brockenbahn are about 2 minutes away.

    We loved the old charm of the home with all the amenities of a modern house. Located on the edge of the Altstadt, the setting is very quiet and has great access to shops, restaurants and local attractions. The train station and bus stations are in close proximity so taking day trips in the surrounding area was easy.
