Old Stone apartment was right in the heart of the Marais and all its shopping and cafe glory! We walked to so much—dinners, the Louvre, Notre Dame and a quick metro ride to points west and north! The beds were comfortable and the evenings quiet for rest. We ended our stay with a show at the jazz club right around the corner—what a wonderful place to base yourself in beautiful Paris!

Perfect location for a Paris family visit! The apartment was a great base for our family of 6. The property was also in excellent condition, and super clean. Highly recommend!

Fabulous location. Charming apartment. We never met the manager but he was very responsive online. It would be nice to have two sets of keys because we didn’t always go out together. The pillow cases did not fit the pillows and the towels are showing some wear. Those are small things but it is otherwise such a nice apartment, if they were rectified, it would be absolutely first rate.

Charming place in excellent location. Host was great communicator - and the early check in was very much appreciated since we arrived very early in the morning from an international flight. Lots of cafes close by! Part of our group was able to do a morning run past Notre Dame to the Eiffel Tower as the location was so close!

The neighborhood was perfect! We loved the restaurants and vibe all around! The metro was easily accessible and Notre Dame was right by! The apartment was comfortable with plenty of space. Our only issue was that our son is 6' tall so the upstairs was hard for him. It was a great place and we highly recommend!

This is apartment is in a perfect location! It is cozy, clean and quite unique. It was quiet. My husband & I traveled with our 2 teens (18 & 14). We walked everywhere. We did not cook in the kitchen but it looked to be well stocked. The only drawback is the 2 bedrooms upstairs. They are completely adorable & the beds are comfy but the ceilings are very low. We are a tall family (our shortest is 5’8”). You cannot stand up fully in the bedrooms without hitting your head on the ceiling wooden beams. Not a problem, you just need to remember. We would stay here again, it is a fantastic apartment in a perfect location. Communication with management company and check-in was fantastic and easy.

We had a fantastic stay. The location of this apartment is excellent, and the space is really cool. We enjoyed the foosball table in the basement, and felt like we were living in a magazine with the stone and glassed in rooms and big basket lamps. We were generously provided with everything we needed, including coffee pods, paper towels, sponge, etc., and even waters, sodas and wine and appreciated not having to go in search of those items at the store. Be aware, there is not much privacy- you can see into the main bathroom from the main bedroom & the third smallest bedroom must use that bathroom. One of the mezzanine bedrooms has an en suite and electric window shade, but the other has a manual shade and no bathroom. Neither has a door, but the former has an additional shade for more privacy. Both ceilings are quite low. our kids liked it, but it would not work for all travelers. It is accessed via a narrow spiral staircase- Just means you need to be agile to enjoy it, particularly because there is no bathroom up there. there are a lot of knickknacks and clutter. The space could benefit from removing some of that and making more room for storage for travelers. Light switches were difficult to understand. There was dust and a mild feeling of not being quite clean. The shower and bath were excellent, washer and dryer worked, The beds were OK. We were very happy to spend 5 days, the accommodations added a glamorous memorable element to our time in Paris!!

This is a magnificent property! The location is perfect, with close access to much of La Marais and the Saint Paul metro station. It is an easy walk to many of the tourism destinations.The property itself is comfortable, full equipped, beautiful and a bit of a marvel. The use of space is incredible.While the location and the place would have been enough to warrant a five star review, the hospitality was above and beyond expectation. The property was stocked with plenty of coffee and some very pleasant surprises for adults and kids.

Loved our stay! This perfectly decorated apartment was safe, clean & in the perfect location for morning bakery bread & pastries, shopping, cafes, & the metro. Easy walk to Notre Dame. We had everything we needed. We will come back!

Amazing location, we loved the area and the apartment. We were there in 30 degree weather with no air conditioning but the apartment stayed reasonably cool with fans on. We will absolutely stay here again.

A family of six fit comfortably in this very well designed loft. There were sufficient spaces for everyone to have their own place to sit and relax. The lower floor is a games room now - chess table, foosball table, etc great for kids and nice and cool as it is underground. The fans and cross breeze between the door/windows kept this garden suite reasonably cool during a heat wave. There is en suite laundry but also a laundromat just a few doors down. There is a market right across the street where you can get all essentials (toilet paper, toiletries, daily baguette, milk and produce, beer and wine). The St Paul’s metro is a three minute walk.Highly recommend - would stay here again!

We recently stayed in this Parisian apartment for a girls trip. It exceeded all expectations. it is conveniently located tucked in the heart of the Marais with easy access to everything yet private and secure. The apartment was well stocked, thoughtfully appointed. and made for a seamless comfortable stay. A fantastic experience from start to finish. This apartment has my full recommendation.

Property was great, just as described. Very unique and beautifully designed. We had 5 adults and were all very comfortable. The location cannot be beat. Everything we needed was just steps away. There is a cool game room downstairs and a nice outdoor table where we had our coffee. All communication was promptly handled by a property management company. They were very responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Old Stones was easy to get to from the metro. Plenty of room on a well-designed space. The neighborhood is walkable with many places to eat and shop. My kids loved the spiral staircases.

Everything was perfect. It was in a great area in le Marais but was quiet. It was very safe with a keypad for the outer courtyard and inner courtyard and then a key for the apartment. The communication from the host was detailed and accurate. The apartment was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. We slept in the queen bed on the first floor. My two sons were in single beds in one loft and my daughter in the other loft. We did not make any food in the kitchen or use the TV or sound system, but the laundry was useful. Overall it was really quite nice and perfect for what we wanted.

We loved our stay here. Each kid got a bed, which they appreciated. It made it easier for people to recharge and get a sense of having their own space after spending all day together exploring the city.We also love the neighborhood. When we arrived, there was a running race going right down the main street just over from the property. We got to see all the energy of the city— it was a lot of funWe also got to explore a lot of the restaurants and cafés within 200 m or 300 m of the apartment. There is so much to do and see.We mostly walked, but took the train up to Montmartre. Everything felt like it was easy access for us. And it was always nice to come back to the apartment and I have a comfortable place to relax. We would definitely stay here again. The hosts provided everything, and were very responsive over email.

From the second I unlocked the door and stepped inside, I knew I had booked a winner. This is the greatest apartment! We loved the location - literally able to walk everywhere. The shopping and restaurant scene around the place is phenomenal. We also enjoyed morning runs on the Seine which is just a few blocks away. The apartment we well appointed and stylishly decorated. I look forward to booking it the next time I'm in Paris.

This was exactly what it lists as. A charming apartment in a great location. The whole process was easy and informative and we had a great trip there. The lighting inside is nice and the game room was a nice touch as were a few things in the fridge for when we made our jetlagged arrival. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful property with great options for any family. Three sleeping spaces, two bathrooms, one fully accessible to all. Gorgeous living space and kitchen. Patio. Absolutely ideal location in Marais. Quiet. Property manager exceptionally responsive to our only request (turn down the heat slightly). We have already asked if we could stay again in the future and this will be our go to property for trips to Paris having travelled there many times and stayed at many properties in area.

Our family of 5 stayed here after Christmas. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. We loved the neighborhood and would highly recommend staying here. Close to shopping, restaurants, the metro and bakeries.

The apartment is masterfullly designed, thoroughly and thoughtfully appointed, and in the very best location. Ground floor access off a quiet courtyard is an added bonus. The neighborhood has everything you need for the perfect stay in Paris. We will absolutely return to Old Stone!

Lovely staying in the Old Stone apartment for our family vacation. Very much appreciated the Nespresso for our mornings, the snacks and juice that were waiting for us after a long day of travel. The location is perfect for hoping on multiple metros or having a cocktail in the evenings. Beds were comfortable!

This property was perfect for our group of 5 girls. The property was spacious, clean and had everything we needed, like coffee, water, even wine. The location was great, just a few minutes walking to the Notre Dame, and it had a plenty of restaurants and stores right outside the door. The access to the property was very easy and the host was quick to respond to all my questions.I will definitely stay here again.

As others have written, the apartment is as good or better than the photos. It was comfortable for two couples and had space for more. The location is excellent, both for the Marais, and for enjoyable walking over to the Left Bank. It’s thoughtfully decorated too. All in all, a great place.

We enjoyed our stay in this quiet building. The apartment was lovely, and communication with the manager easy with very detailed & fast responses when needed. For tall people, just be aware that the upper rooms are low-ceilinged. Not a problem for me or spouse at 5 ft and 5.5 ft - but challenging for anyone over 5’9 or so. That being said, we still enjoyed the stay very much and the location was perfect for walking and using the metro. Everything was close by! Extra pillows were much appreciated, as was the clothing drying rack for things we didn’t want to dry in the dryer.

HIGHLY recommend this VRBO. It was perfect for our group of 5. The location is the best! Step outside and you are immersed in Paris. Boutiques, cafes, restaurants… everything is within a few blocks. The apartment itself is absolutely divine!!! I would stay here again!!!

The location of this apartment could not have been better regarding its proximity to fantastic restaurants and other points of interest. The building that houses this apartment is situated near a heavily traveled section of town, both pedestrian and vehicle, however the sound is insulated by the building courtyard. Our stay was quiet and relaxing. The hosts were receptive and communicative, helping us if needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

I can't say enough about this property. 1st of all very clean. All the amenities you need. No ac but plenty of fans and the stone keeps it cool. We were there in 90 degree in July and we were fine. Even has umbrellas. If you're looking for a true Paris cafe experience this is it. You are feet from all the action 100's of cafes, restaurants, shops and nightlife. Great little farmers market on Saturday one street away. Markets in all directions for essentials. 2 blocks from the metro train that gets you anywhere in the city and also to Disneyland. There was a cafe square about a block away Le Gribouille was the best for breakfast, dinner or just a glass of wine and people watching anytime of day. Last but not least Jean-Noel was the best. He was awesome to deal with. Helped us out with a scheduling issue with no delay. Quick response to any email or question I had. All around a perfect stop on our European vacation. I will definitely be using them again.

While we weren’t ultimately able to stay at the property the host provided very detailed information beforehand about the apartment and helpful local travel information. We would book with them again in the future.
