Stayed Aug 29, 2025It's a beach house for sure, but the decor and the paint was just too dark and drabby for us, no beach feeling at all once your inside. The best part of this rental is the front porch breeze! I knew from the pictures the furnishing were not very update or modern. If your looking for a cool beach theme feeling this is not it! It was so dark inside I felt completely close in, you would never know you were at the beach. The location was really sweet, just a very short walk down the hidden path to the beach which was nice for those early morning walks to see the sunrise, and the area felt safe to walk at night too. Parking is an issue anywhere in the area near the beach, it did have good car parking but getting our boat and long truck was not happening, we had to rent another area for the long weekend, at an extra expense for us. We did have some issues which the host fixed quickly, we really did appreciate that. So over all it was okay.
