Oceanfront Suite with Hot Tub

What a nice spot . Had a hot tub at night after my busy days , and morning with my coffee Comfy bed and very quiet Definitely would book again

Location is excellent for views and seclusion. Nice extras provided which were appreciated. Amazing communication, a very pleasant stay. Would go back again anytime.

We stayed 6 nights. The suite was very comfortable and well equipped with anything we could have needed. The setting and views are beautiful, and the hot tub was certainly a lovely bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Just as advertised though the bed a bit lumpy and hot tub a bit cheesy. Overall lovely hideaway and very nice hostess.

Met Kathy on the way in. Very pleasant and helpful. The unit is lovely with a nice view. Very quit quiet area over looking the bay. Has a great feel to the unit. Loved it and would highly recommend staying here.

it was quiet and peaceful. It was comfortable to spend time in this place. We also used the jacuzzi. That's why we liked everything

Everything was perfect, though we couldn't tell which bottle in the shower was soap, shampoo, or conditioner. Labels would help. All else was fabulous.

The place was amazing. Kathy was an excellent gracious host. The hot tub was a beautiful end to our evenings. The views are gorgeous and the space was very clean with everything you would need. My only wish was for an outdoor patio heater for morning coffee. .

Everything exceeded my expectations. The hot tub was the right temperature, and the amenities were above and beyond. I only stayed for one night, but I wish I had booked for longer. Very private, clean, independent and private, and extremely cozy. The suite was hard to find on the property and thankfully the owners daughter in law pulled in and told me where to go. Overall 9.5/10

Everything was perfect, what a great stay! The host Kathy was quick to respond and pleasant to deal with. The suite was cozy and comfy with a fantastic view from the bed, couch, table and hot tub ... in fact really from anywhere!!It is a little bit of effort to bring bags to and from your vehicle but that was a small price to pay. Those with mobility issues would likely have a difficult time. There are a couple places to eat in Maple Bay as well as a Coffee shop but no grocery store so if you don't want to have to drive into Duncan, plan to shop ahead of time.It's a cute little town and we would absolutely book Kathy's suite in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at the suite. It had everything you can possible need, even games and puzzles, the hot tub was a nice way to relax in the evening. Can definitely recommend this place for a relaxed stay with beautiful views and things to explore in the area!

Very clean and CHARMING! Lots of steps but worth it. Close to the ferry to go across to SaltSpring for the Saturday

We could mention the cleanliness, how it was well equipped, that the bed was comfortable, and the owner extremely helpful, but the one thing that really stood out for us was the view - we had good weather and spent most of the time sat outside overlooking the bay. It was magical. Even from the hot tub it was amazing. Oh, and the pub in the bay is well worth a visit.

This is a lovely, quiet and well appointed, private guest suite in a stunning location. The surrounding area has a nice sense of being off the beaten track with truly breathtaking scenery. Our host was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a relaxed summer break, exploring local attractions, eating at close by cafes and swimming.

We had a great stay at Kathy’s place. The view is amazing and suite had everything we needed. It was Summer so we didn’t use the hot tub but I’m sure it would be great in the winter.

Such a lovely suite! Clean, comfortable, private, tastefully decorated. Loved every second. So nice to be provided croissants and coffee and jam and honey for breakfast!

I attended a wedding nearby so I just booked one night. After spending the short time I in the suite, I wish I had booked at least 2 nights. Beautiful view , lovely atmosphere and so very quiet at night. Everything was perfect !

Nice place cozy and great atmosphere. No a/c as listed it’s shared from the owners portion, kept warm at 23. Wish the view from the listing was available but it was taken from a different vantage point that I did not see

It was private And clean, a short walk to the ocean and a great pub. The view was breath-taking. Could not ask for a better spot for a morning coffee. There was lots of little nice touches. And you would think you had the whole house to yourself.

It was a lovely suite. Very quiet and pleasant. The attention to details for our comfort and enjoyment was much appreciated. We will stay here again.

Amazing property! We stayed one night there but regret of not staying there for more than one! Host is amazing she greeted us upon arrival and space is so nice and clean, she designed the space with so much of thought it’s like home away from home! My husband enjoyed hot tub and only came of hot tub to have dinner and sleep! Such nice quiet and secluded property with privacy and peace! We had our dinner and breakfast outside overlooking the bay! Best time ever, will definitely return back!

The suite has great views overlooking Maple Bay and though it's part of a house feels very private and quiet. Very clean, quality bedding and even supplies to make coffee or tea in the morning.

Perfect cozy place for an overnight. So beautiful and serene looking out on the water. Host is very responsive.

Very clean suite in an amazing location. We had everything we could need, even breakfast and coffee. We got unlucky with the weather and we're happy to have a comfortable room to cosy in when it was pouring outside. I 100% recommend.

Nice portable hot tub is a lovely addition to add to the charm of this little fully supplied 1 bed studio. I would suggest listing directions in point form so important points aren't missed when explaining access to the location.It's a fairly steep hillside staircase, so best not to bring too many heavy bags with you.

Warm, comfy, cozy indoor space with ample room for myself and a close friend. Immaculately clean overall, great bed, all the things I would hope for in the kitchenette. Outdoor space with inflatable hot tub with a beautiful view and privacy. We only stayed two nights but next time we will definitely stay at least three.

Beautifully appointed, with many thoughtful personal touches supplied such as sandals & towels for the hot tub: croissants, w butter & jam: cream to go w/ coffee or tea... Kathy was very warm & welcoming. The suite and location were stunning! Many interesting sights ,& activities in the area. Highlites included Hand of Man Museum; Society barber & cafe for afternoon snack. We'll be back when we can stay longer!

Beautiful view of the bay. It is quiet and cozy with a cute kitchen. Very clean and charming. Hiking nearby.

The studio suite was very clean, uncluttered, and aesthetically attractive. It was very quiet and peaceful with a lovely view of water through the trees. Apparently there was even a wind storm while we were there but we heard nothing. The only thing we missed were walking trails. Walking was on the road and parks were a car ride away.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We wanted a relaxing weekend away for our anniversary. The suite is exactly as described, with lots of thoughtful touches. Bed is comfortable, kitchenette has everything you need for basic meals, the view is fantastic and the architecture of the house is very cool. Highly recommend

Efficent, two restaurants we liked on bay, great location on island to visit Victoria or go north for hiking and waterfalls, very peaceful and beaitiful view.

Great place - immaculate, comfortable bed, morning snacks - Kathy has thought of everything. Very quiet and relaxing.

Amazing to wake up to the sunrise right outside the window with a view of a beautiful inlet. Even better when you’re sitting in a hot-tub with a cup of coffee.

Lovely, immaculate, comfortable space is very pretty. There are a lot of stairs to get down to unit. Road has no sidewalks and is not good for walking. But, once in, the space is terrific.

We were looking for a peaceful setting with a view where we could relax for a few days, and this place did not disappoint! Our host Cathy was so kind and helpful, and we were very happy with this property. We highly recommend staying here!

The suite is very comfortable, well equipped and peaceful. The location is in a stunning region of North Cowichan, high above the channel with views through Arbutus trees to Saltspring island. There are lots of good gastro pubs in the nearby harbours. Kathy is a kind and thoughtful host ensuring we had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. I would not hesitate to return and highly recommend to anyone wishing to explore this region of Vancouver Island.

We very liked our stay here. The place is well located and had a splendid view over the bay area. We enjoyed the hot tub after a long drive from Vancouver.
