Amazing property, clean, lovely owner. Location can’t be beat, would gladly stay here again!

We loved our stay at this property to celebrate a birthday on the water. The apartment was clean and well appointed with a beautiful view over the ocean. We brought our own food and the kitchen was fully equipped. The managers were welcoming and responsive though we had no issues while there. The end of the pier was still closed during this visit but otherwise we had a great stay, including visiting the grounds of nearby Adamson House nearby. We will definitely hope to stay here again in the future.

Location location location. the Balcony on the beach Made it worth it. But the property is in need of a facelift.

We visit this location every year. It’s the highlight of our year. Amazing restaurants, view, and morning coffee patio. Angle is amazing and we appreciate seeing him in very year! Thank You!

Perfect stay in Malibu!

Our third time staying here!! The locaation is great, the unit is perfect and has everything you need and is well kept!! Host is very friendly and we will be back again for sure!!!

The setting was picture perfect. I met a gentleman in Hawaii in the month of October and we agreed to meet halfway him coming in from Arizona and me coming in from Seattle Washington.We could walk to the Malibu pier. We ate there on two different occasions same restaurant. Then we ate at the beautiful I believe it's called the carbon restaurant in The Lovely Hotel right next to the cottage we were at. Drove to Santa Barbara for the day, and my favorite riding the ferris wheel on the Santa Monica pier. We even drove over the pier to the parking lot. Spectacular place to get away. Host and Hostess and Angel were so communicative. Don't let this little spot of paradise steer you in any other direction but here. Thank you so much for a lovely, lovely time

Beautiful views right on the water. Loved being able to do morning yoga on the balcony watching the sunrise over the water. We saw seals and dolphins and beautiful seabirds. Exquisite. We had some issues with our water heater but host was super responsive and fixed the issue at superhuman speed!

I stayed here with my family for our annual girls trip and it was wonderful! The gentleman that welcomed us was super nice, and the location and view - beautiful! Everything was fresh and clean. The property gate made us feel very safe, and I loved that there was a garage for our rental. I wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely return!

This was our second time staying here and we can’t wait to come back for a 3rd time! It's magical. Angel greeted us and helped us get settled and oriented. He's always very friendly and helpful.

Great location!

Angel met us when we arrived and showed us our unit as well as the beach access points. My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights and had an amazing time! We walked to restaurants, hung out on the beach, and spent most of the time on the balcony watching the waves and just enjoying the peace. We highly recommend the sandpiper unit!

The property is on the older side, but doesn’t take away from the place and location. Would definitely stay here again. Walked the beach every day of my stay. Walked both ends but prefer the beach on the other side of the pier. Walk past the public beach and lagoon, wide beautiful beach, no rocks. Here in May, so beaches really empty, a plus. The place is fully stocked, lots of towels! Beach towels and chairs available another plus. Angel greeted us and explained everything and showed us around. He was so helpful and kind. Felt good having him around in case there were questions or problems. PHC was still closed, left on May 21st. All in all, loved the place and will definitely be back.

The place looks nice in the pictures, but the reality was completely different.Ants were everywhere- i have a video that i can share , the pull-out couch was extremely uncomfortable, impossible to sleep on it and water was splashing directly onto the balcony.On our last night, there were road closures and an expected mudslide. When we called the emergency line, they advised us to leave the area immediately if we had a flight to catch at LAX the next day. We had to gather our belongings quickly and evacuate. I reached out to the owner for guidance but never received a response.If you're dreaming of a stay in Malibu, you may want to think twice before booking this place.

These properties on Carbon Beach are truly secret gems. Malibu really is one of favorite places and to be able to stay in a place and literally wake up on the beach hearing the waves all day and night is priceless. The staff is responsive and the units are very cute and clean and I cannot stress enough how wonderful the location is. You have the cross creek shops less than a mile away , the pier, Nobu,etc. You’re also far enough east to venture into Santa Monica pretty easily if you want to. I have stayed in several of these units , and plan on continuing to return. We spent my birthday and Thanksgiving there this time and it was magical.

The property was very nice, great location, clean, and felt safe. However, the neighbors upstairs either had a very large dog running and jumping around or an adult was moving and stomping/running around all hours of the night making sleep difficult. (I know this is not the fault of the VRBO). But for the price I/we were hoping for a little bit more quiet at night.

Absolutely gorgeous location with an amazing view right on the beach. Morning sunrise was stunning. The property was all we needed and just sitting on the porch with the sound of the waves was so relaxing. The pier was a great place to eat and just down the road were other great places. It was a bit hard to find at night but the traffic was usually light.

If you’re looking for an oceanfront vacation, this is the place for you. If the ocean was any closer you’d need a bathing suit to eat breakfast. This cozy apartment is ideal for two. It’s an old building but well maintained. It’s located right on the Pacific Coast Highway but road noise was not an issue. The only noise is the sound of the Pacific Ocean.

Nice last minute beachfront property walking distance to Malibu Pier. Perfect little getaway while hubby is working.

Angel was on site to set us up with all we needed. He was a tremendous help during our whole stay and went above and beyond for us. The condo its self was ok. Had a gas leak issue, which Angel fixed immediately. If I stay in this complex again I may stay in a different condo, but my decision to pick this complex again will be because of Angel and how wonderful he is.

Cute place for a small family. Short walk to the sand and restaurants. Kitchen was complete. Manager checked on us if we needed anything which was nice.

Coming to Malibu for a few days of rest and relaxation required a house that was close to the beach. This property checked all the boxes. It was perfectly sized for my husband and I, it had everything we needed so we didn't have to pack a lot of extra stuff and the location couldn't have gotten any better! It was easy to find, close to restaurants and attractions, either a short walk or short drive. The owner and caretaker were wonderful, I highly recommend this rental!

Great location, fantastic view on the waterfront. But the state of the apartment is very different from the pictures. It’s old, noisy, humid…

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The location was perfect in relation to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The view was spectacular!
