Oceanfront 2 Bedroom Condo

The room was very nice, clean and accommodating. The view from the balcony was perfect. The property offers 2 nice heated pools for guests to use. The beach area is also very nice. The location is about 1.5 miles from the Hollywood boardwalk. It is walkable from both the beach and street sidewalks. We rented bikes which helped access the board walk more easily. The only complication was that The Tides does not allow renters to use the bike racks in the parking garage which complicated storage during our stay.The host was very accommodating with our late arrival and sent us the door code in advance. We did not realize there are 2 buildings at The Tides. This room is in the North building. We were provided a 5 digit door code and the door takes a 4 digit code so we couldn't access the room until we got ahold of Elcio to reset it for us. The Tides also requires you check in at there main office to get your key fob which is a 30 non-refundable cost. We were aware of this at booking. Wrist bands for the pool are also provided and all guests including children must wait in line with you to have the wrist bands put on you by the staff. We had to wait in line a second time to get the wristbands for our teenage children. The Tides is very strict with rules and they have a lot.

Overall, the property is very nice. The apartment itself was in wonderful shape and the view of the pool and ocean was beautiful. The check-in process was inconvenient because you have to go into a cramped room to get your key fob, but it's not a reason to not book. We were also a bit surprised the boardwalk was 2-3 miles away. You just need to know that restaurants and shopping are a short Uber or long walk away. However, overall, this is a great place to rent where you will be very comfortable.

There was no heat. Had to use 2 electric heaters and had to use beach towels to keep warm. There were no wash cloths. Never been to a hotel or rental that didn’t have wash cloths. The manager of the unit was very nice and was helpful.

Very well taken care of when arrived. Parking is expensive but convenient. Condo was nice and quiet.

Very nice, spacious and clean apartment right on the beach. Pool was great, beach accessories available in the apartment.

We had an awesome time with family! It was so close to the beach and the pool. The views were amazing.

We loved everything about our stay. The condo was beautiful and very spacious. When we arrived, we were met and given instructions and even helped us with our luggage. Loved having coffee on the balcony with a beautiful view of the ocean. The pool was very nice but a little disappointed they closed early around 7 PM There is a publix just down the road and a lot of great restaurants nearby. Having laundry on every floor was nice as well. I will definitely be back. this was really a perfect location.!

The check-in process with Elcio was very easy. He was just a phone call away and made sure we were well informed of the property. The condo was very clean and perfect for our stay. It was nice to have the beach chairs and the cooler at our disposal.

Great condo in a nice location - on the beach and fabulous view from the balcony overlooking the pool and beach. On the 4th floor, which is nice as you are high enough for a view but not super high, as are many rentals in that area, where you would otherwise always have to use an elevator. Very clean condo and the building is quiet. Comfortable beds. My son and I used the workout room a few times - overlooks the pool area and nice equipment. Location is a short drive south of the busier boardwalk/Hollywood beach area, which was nice if you're looking for a place close to but not right in the boardwalk area. A few really great restaurants/bakeries across the street for quicker bites to eat. Short drive to lots of nice restaurants on the intracoastal side. There were a lot of rules at the pool, so don't expect the kids to be able to run wild... but those rules are in place to ensure that everyone has a relaxing time. Host was very reponsive. Would definitely rent again!

The apartment was just as advertised. The pools and beach were perfect. We had a minor issue with the shade and it was fixed immediately. The check in process is tedious but I do feel like the host explained this and it is probably the same way for the whole area. It was the only somewhat stressful part of the entire stay. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful view from the balcony! Saw the sun rise each day! The unit was very spacious, clean and attractive. It was fully equipped with beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas and the kitchen had everything you might need. Anna and Elcio were very welcoming and helpful! The pool area is awesome! We loved the beach too- just not great for walking distances for us as the sand is not flat and packed near the water. While the area was pretty limited as far as restaurants and things to do, there is a Publix close by and the Ride Circuit was great! It brought us to the Broadwalk and several restaurants too far to walk to. We used it at least once every day! Also, we walked to Acqua Bistro and had dinner there twice.Very good!!!

This is an incredible place to stay and priced very competitively for the market. I echo all the other positive reviews and would highly recommend this property. Elcio was a huge help with check in and tried to make check in after 5pm as painless as possible. Limited access until 9am when the office opens. You wait in line to get your key fob. If you want to use the pool, each member in your party has to be present in the office to have a wrist band applied which you have to wear the entire length of your stay (including if you go to a nice restaurant! No fault of the host). No shower soap, shampoo, or coffee is provided so plan accordingly which would be nice to spell out in the listing so you know in advance as that is not the norm. Would also be nice to have extra pillows and a blanket but we didn't ask for any during the stay so possibly that could have been accommodated. Otherwise extremely well stocked for the beach and kitchen.
