Timmonsville, South Carolina
This is a newly remodeled apartment that sits in the heart of our majestic winery. Bedroom One has a King Size Bed and a Jacuzzi with a Porch that Overlooks the Winery. You will be in the country where no one is bothering you, but there is usually someone at the winery if you need assistance with anything. You can enjoy a wine tasting during your visit and sample our outstanding wines, or even get a tour of the winery.
The property was beautiful, the staff was welcoming, warm and lovely people (including the fur babies), the apartment was gorgeous! They provided a microwave, a small fridge, Keurig, plates, napkins, hot and cold cups and several other items for the kitchenette area. The apartment was beautifully decorated, very clean and fresh smelling and the linens were soft and also very fresh and clean. It was wonderful waking up in the AM, grabbing my coffee and sitting out on the deck letting the rising sun warm me. It was so peaceful being in the boonies and gazing out across the vineyard. Booking this place will not disappoint you and we cannot wait to go back.
The stay was great. The staff onsite were very nice and accommodating and the wine tasting was so fun! We were there for a girls weekend and we will make it an annual trip we had so much fun.
Thank you for the great place to stay
This place is a hoot . It is off the beaten path but we’ll worth it . Perfect for 4 or less .
To say that we're now safe & sound and got to see our daughter graduate from college is an amazing statement for us to make. On the night of 3rd May, we arrived at the property during a severe storm which took the power out, no lights or water available until approx. 10pm when the power returned. We understood it was a situation nobody could've helped, so appreciated the tealights as many of the rooms, including the 2nd bed. & both bathrooms, had no windows. Our two labradors were with us also so fortunately we had some bottled water with us. Around 2.30am we heard a bang and rumbling next door, looked out of the blinds in the window to see flames leaping into the sky on my left, woke my husband to move our truck out front & get the dogs out, I called 911 at 2.47am. As the rooms are on the second floor, we needed to use the wooden steps to the left which ultimately led us straight towards the fire, both the dogs noses are burnt & peeling, the heat was so incredibly intense. As the only people sleeping inside the building, the owners don't live on the premises, we feel truly thankful that I awoke when I did. Sitting in our truck in our pj's with the dogs wondering what on earth was going on, as fire truck after fire truck arrived, our hearts were pounding with adrenalin and shock as we watched the fire grow. We waited until 4.15am, spoke with the Fire Chief and then we left as the rooms were full of smoke & uninhabitable. We found a rest stop on the I-95, changed from pj's into our clothes & grabbed a coffee. We had to continue driving to Florida, tbh still in shock and thankful to be alive. At no time during or since has anyone from the Winery tried to contact us or reached out to us to see if we're ok, nobody arrived at the winery whilst it was ablaze even though we sat there for nearly 2 hours, a lovely local family who lived close by and wanted to make sure there was nobody else upstairs were the only people to check on us, and obviously the firefighters. For me, I find it absolutely unconscionable one human being to another, never to have asked, followed up or even enquire with VRBO how the guests are, did they make it ok? oh and thank you for making the one and only 911 call which stopped it spreading to other buildings. It's definitely made us think twice about ever using VRBO again, especially as it now transpires there was no insurance, plus there was a similar fire in 2018 - hence the go fund me recently set up.
This place was awesome. Super unique, quiet, clean, tons of space- had everything we needed and more. Would recommend for a quick stop on the way to Florida like we did or for a longer time! Florence is a quick drive and there are lots of great restaurants. Highly recommend! The owners were amazing and the winery was super fun! And bed super comfortable to boot!
We would stay here again on our way to Florida and back.
Just passing through on the way to NC and found this beaut! Very comfortable apartment overlooking the vineyard with very nice bathrooms. Huge jacuzzi and relaxing rain shower were a bonus! The owners were great! I had 2 nice walks through the vineyard as well. Tasting rooms were perfect. Definitely recommend staying here for a night, weekend or more!
You get to stay at a vineyard in a nice, clean, very cozy room. The room is unique, nothing like I've ever seen. I can't wait to go back ? The people who run it are very friendly and made our stay even better.
We stayed for a night on our way to North Carolina. This winery is so cute and found the rental perfect for the night. We appreciated the honor bar to grab bottles of wine and the ability to enjoy the winery a bit after hours. We would stay again for sure.
very different from the normal...apartment was nice...very clean....fun to walk around and see the various statues...plants.. now to easy on the eye at first...property looks junkie outside of the apartment..... it is a vineyard do it has a lot going on...... suggest an iron and borad be placed in the unit....maybe some direction on light switches....strong suggestion on bolting the door in the second bedroom overlooking the party hall........it is a drop if someone is horsing around......especially children being adventurous
