The accommodation features a large, bright living room with a sofa and dining area, furnished withattention to detail. The independent kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for those who enjoy cooking while on holiday. The outdoor space, consisting of a spacious balcony and a furnished patio, is the perfect place for a a morning coffee, while experiencing the city at a slower pace. The sleeping area includes a bedroom with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom, as well as a second bedroom with a single bed featuring a large window, overlooking the internal patio. A second bathroom with shower and bidet completes the layout.

NotOrdinary is ideally located for exploring some of the most beautiful beaches in south-eastern Sicily, including Marina di Noto, Marina di Avola, Calamosche Beach, Marianelli Beach (naturist), San Lorenzo, Marzamemi, Isola delle Correnti, and Portopalo di Capo Passero. For lovers of nature and culture, we also recommend visiting the Vendicari Nature Reserve, the Necropolis of Pantalica, the Tellaro Roman Villa, and Noto Antica. Known as the Baroque capital, Noto’s historic center was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002. Among its protected landmarks, you’ll find the Noto Cathedral, the city’s most important Catholic place of worship, and Palazzo Ducezio, which houses the famous Hall of Mirrors. Along the coast, you can visit the Calamosche Beach Nature Reserve, recognized in 2005 as “Italy’s most beautiful beach” for its crystal-clear waters. For lovers of relaxation and the sea, Eastern Sicily and the area surrounding Syracuse offer everything one could wish for. Starting from the ancient Greek city and going south, the best equipped and most beautiful beaches to explore are Minareto, Fanusa, Arenella and Fontane Bianche, whose name derives from the natural sources of fresh water and the particular white color of the sand. Inside the island of Ortigia, moreover, you will find equipped solariums (Zefiro and Nettuno) and a small free beach named Cala Rossa. Moving further south, about 30 km away, we find beautiful unspoiled and impervious beaches, including Calamosche, Vendicari with its Natural Wildlife Oasis and the beautiful San Lorenzo. For culture enthusiasts, definitely see the Greek theater of Syracuse and the entire archaeological park with the Ear of Dionysius, a cave carved into the limestone in the shape of a human ear, the Paolo Orsi Museum, and also the Latomie dei Cappuccini, as well as Ortigia itself with its historical and cultural as well as scenic beauty. Not to be overlooked are Noto, the waterfront with the tuna fishery of Avola, and finally the seaside village of Marzamemi. The accommodation is a 1 hour drive from Catania airport and less than a 15 minutes' walk from Noto train station. For those arriving by public transport, the bus stop is located right in front of the house. From there, you can catch direct buses from Catania Airport, as well as from Siracusa, Avola, and Modica, making NotOrdinary easily accessible from all of south-eastern Sicily.
