WE LIVE ABOVE THE STUDIO AND HAVE A TODDLER! Though we do our best to be mindful of guests, especially early in the morning, you will hear us and we will hear you. Our child will run around and there is no way to avoid this. IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER OUR HOME MAY NOT BE FOR YOU.
The studio is on ground level, ceilings are not the highest. If you are above 6’3 you may not be comfortable inside the studio.
Our home has surveillance cameras installed on the front and back entrances, so be sure to smile for the camera.
Overall, this property was perfect was our trip. It was clean and comfortable with the location was within walking distance to the Metro.
Proximity to Metro was great. It was very clean...
The studio and its location were amazing. I don't think I could have chosen a better place to stay!
The neighborhood was very quaint and within a 15 minute walk to the metro. The owners were very friendly and quick to respond to messages. I would highly recommend.
This is a convenient, clean and relatively quiet studio flat in D.C. I enjoyed my brief stay and will consider returning in the course of my travels.
Nice little studio that worked well for my conference stay. It’s about a 15-20 minute walk to the Metro in a mostly residential area. Not a lot of food options nearby by but there is a Safeway and another organic supermarket on the walk between the Metro and apartment. A nice addition to the apartment would be a small wardrobe to hang clothing. Otherwise it was comfortable for my purposes.
We were very disappointed with the property and the service we received. We were told that there would be free parking. In the check-in instruction email (which I had to request because I never received it before check-in time) we were told to park anywhere that we could find a spot on the street. We ended up having to park almost two blocks away. We were approached by people asking for money as soon as we got out of the car. The private entrance was actually going through the carport and storage/workroom of the owner. We felt very unsafe in the neighborhood after the parking experience and the walk to the house. We requested that the owners refund our money because of all of our concerns yet were denied. Would definitely not recommend.
I was pleased with overall condtItions about this place. The only time I spent there was overnight and I did not have time to use other things like TV, microwave oven and so on. The only downside I think of was finding a parking space in the area but I managed it alright. I would go back if I have another trip back to DC.
Spent 6 nights at this we'll equipt apartment. Everything we needed. A few patters of tiny feet from the house but overall very quiet. Great neighbourhood for food choices and access to bus and metro. Also, always space for on street car parking. We'll most definitely be back next time we're in DC.
Overall a very well stay. The place was very clean, organized, and private. Only complaint is that the room is under the hosts’ home and you can hear them moving around early in the morning. My partner was woken up early each morning with a child running around the home above. Just be aware for future guests if you’re a light sleeper. Otherwise, it was a great place to relax after a long day visiting DC/ surrounding areas.
The hosts were super friendly -- willing to help with recommendations on local eateries and transportation options.
A couple friends and I took a lil trip to DC. We all had a great time, and the VRBO was just what we needed. It's clean, close to public transit, and in a quiet neighborhood!
This studio was perfect for our needs while in D.C. and the communication from the hosts was excellent.
This is a basement property. It is very well appointed, with access to microwave, refrigerator, glasses and dishes, and even a washer and dryer. Keyless access so that we could drop off luggage upon arrival without arranging time/access with owner. Very nice rental option.
Studio apt located in a lovely, quiet residential neighborhood. Perfect 4 a couple or small family. Close 2 bus & metro lines, w easy & quick access 2 downtown. Apt had everything we needed, including a washer & dryer! Very clean & well kept, w responsive owners who live upstairs in the home. We plan another visit 2 D.C. & will definitely stay here again.
This was exactly what I was hoping for. It was close to the bus stop, easy to get to, and in a quiet neighborhood. Teodora and her husband responded promptly to my questions and concerns and it was an overall great stay. Thanks again!
The property owners were extremely sweet and professional. Because of Covid there was an no contact check in which I loved but on a rare occasion when you would have to speak with them, they are so polite. I definitely will be booking again!
The room was nice and cozy with fridge, microwave, coffee pot and coffee, comfortable bed, handy heater (and a/c), hot shower, and digital entry (no keys to carry). Bus stops are within 1/2-1 mile in all directions and take you right to the Mall area. Just be sure you're ready to walk alot. Teodora checked on us and sent me the links for public transportation. We had no problem finding street parking for our car.
