This listing checked all the boxes. Obviously it was clean, spotless, which everybody appreciates. The bed was comfortable. And the size of the unit was perfect for one person.The home sits on a cliff just above the water. And the air was fresh the day after it rained when I walked outside I could smell the cedar from the trees. And the view was just stunning. I sat on the patio, drank a half bottle of wine and just took in the view.Next time I come to Seattle, I will check the lookout first to see if there’s anything available.

The owners were lovely and their was so beautiful garden. I loved that it had a washer and dryer, comfy bed and absolutely breathtaking views. Spring is the time to visit as everything is in bloom!

Beautiful view, clean & well-equipped space, and friendly hosts! I stayed at the Lookout for the weekend, and it was the perfect landing spot for exploring the greater Seattle area. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus, especially for travelers who are doing outdoor adventuring. Thank you for a fabulous stay!A note for travelers who will have a vehicle during their stay: The street is narrow and dead-ends, so there is minimal space to turn around (back-up camera was a lifesaver!). Parking was only an issue one night when a neighbor had company, and they were extremely friendly and had their guest move their vehicle in front of their house.

We had the best time staying here! The listings pictures does NOT do it justice. The view is inanely beautiful and hard to top. We will be coming back just for the view!My family of 4 (my husband, 4 y/o, 1 y/o and I) were all able to fit in the single bedroom. We had our 4 y/o on a blow up cot and our 1 y/o in a pack n play and it worked out perfectly! Along with the amazing views, the grounds were beautifully and meticulously maintained and cared for. On of the most beautiful gardens I’ve ever seen. No complaints on cleanliness - everything was great in that regard. My only suggestion would be to give a black out curtain option for the bedroom and to replace the door knob with one that can lock. (Us paranoid young mothers would love that) Thanks for everything Kristi & Pat!

Wonderful location and spectacular view. Very comfortable bed!

These accommodations were even better than the pictures could show. What a cute place that made great use of the space. We felt safe and comfortable, and the view of the water and mountains were hard to beat. Our hosts thought of so many small details to make us feel at home. They were in and out during our time there, but luckily we got to meet Kristi before we left. It was a short trip for us, but we are thankful to have found this property and would highly recommend it when you are in the area.

The apartment was clean and bright and the hosts were extremely pleasant and kind. This is a very peaceful location and the views are stunning! The kitchen has everything you need and coffee/tea is provided for those chilly Seattle mornings. The apartment is walking distance to a lovely restaurant and a bus stop. Highly recommend!

A great property in every way. We will stay here again. Everyone on here raves about the view, and it is indeed that beautiful. Comfortable bed with nice pillows. Washer and dryer in the unit. This is a basement unit, so we did hear the residents above us, but it was never bothersome. The hosts are correct in the property description about the parking: It is tight on a narrow street. We had a rental Toyota Camry and were always able to park right in front, but I wouldn’t want a vehicle any larger than that. Overall, a wonderful place with wonderful, responsive hosts. Highly recommend.

We loved the layout of the place! The laundry room was a bonus. It was close to everything we needed to do or get to in a short time. Not to mention the view was breathtaking.

beautiful place to stay. right next to ferry. Seattle is close by and easy to get to. You have everything you need here. There was a nice washer and dryer, refrigerator, coffee maker with coffee, a electric hot water kettle for tea along with an assortment of tea. We really enjoyed our stay and the view was fantastic.

It was just wonderful, a beautiful apartment with the most amazing view, very friendly hosts, a nice neighborhood close to the beach. We especially loved watching the ferries go by. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

It is a great place to stay for short or long vacation. It has a unbelievable view (ocean view). Very quiet place and neighborhood. It is a privately relaxing place. The owner is living on second floor, but they are very quiet and very nice couple. Nice garden with many beautiful flowers. Inside there is a wash and dryer, sink, mini fridge, but no stove or oven. We will be back someday.

The property was even better than the listing. The view was amazing, the neighborhood was great (just 20 minutes from downtown, but still a great escape from the city), and the hosts were very friendly. I would love to stay here again.

Lovely view, lovely yard, had just enough space for 2,nice area to sit outside and watch the harbor activities. Very restful,Easy to get to areas of seattle with a car, didnt use public transportation.

An absolutely gorgeous view of the Puget Sound to wake up to each morning. There are some things like the Wildwoods Market and Lincoln Park that are within walking distance. Kristi and Patrick are very welcoming hosts. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

There's a fair amount of noise when people are upstairs and walking around, but the view and accomodation are wonderful. It's an absolute zen moment after a rough day to sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and look out over Puget Sound and the snowcapped Olympic mountains.

What a wonderful find this was! Everything was as described, and the view was amazing. We enjoyed being out of all the hustle and bustle of downtown, but within a reasonable driving distance. Walkability is only for those who are very fit, though. The access information is very accurate, but do pay attention the details if you have mobility issues as it might be challenging. Having said that, we would stay again. I have fused ankles, so uneven ground, and stairs are always a challenge, but it was worth it!

This place is located walking distance to Lincoln Park and also a local restaurant and Market Place. You can sit and watch the sunset and the ferry’s cross the sound.It is small but has everything you’d want for stay.

Place is very comfortable. It is easy to get to, and there is easy access to the bus. Grand views from the patio .

The unit is clean and focuses on the view. I like the neighborhood a lot as well. Beats staying DT. If you're looking for low key vacation than this is it.

My wife and I stayed for a week in this charming place in West Seattle in order to be close to our grandkids. The place is located in a super quiet and charming neighborhood. Amazing view and plenty of space for the two of us. Hosts are very responsive but experienced no issues at all with the clean and well appointed apartment.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights. It was perfect for us. We were specifically looking for a place in West Seattle. You can walk to the Vashon Island ferry terminal from the apartment, and to Lincoln Park. It had everything we needed, including kitchen, eating area, laundry room. It is quiet, private, very clean, I loved the artistic touches, such as the four framed prints in the living room, the furniture, the warm polished cement floors that were very cozy on a cold winter day. We would defintely return when we're back in the area.

It was beautiful and peaceful. One note-my husband, who used to run a hardware store, says the wax ring around the toilet needs replacing. It leaked a little.But it was wonderful. We were there over Christmas, and it was such a pleasure to retreat to our peaceful place from the madness of family!

This space gave me a very cozy home away from home to be able to reflect and repair. Kristi and pat are very kind. Lovely smiles. Despite the weather... it was nice to be able to get to the water easily. I am a reamerging artist. The landscape is inspiring.

This little one bedroom daylight basement stay is lovely. The view is beautiful and secluded. You will hear the owners walking around, but the view and quiet stay is so worth it!

The Lookout is everything you'd want in a stay. Perfect for 2 people, it offers a rustic charm overlooking the Sound. The hosts were very kind and responsive when needed. We highly recommend this place if youre in the Seattle area.
