Aliquippa, Pennsylvania
Located approximately 12 minutes from both the airport and around 30 minutes from Pittsburgh city center is our newly renovated apartment!
We are extremely close to the 376 freeway which can take you to Top Golf or Downtown. The newly renovated lounge, bedroom & bathroom are BEAUTIFUL. The guest apartment is set in a rustic location with acres of woodland behind it too.
The one bedroom apartment is located beneath the main house which could be rented to other guests during your stay but is completely and utterly separate. It is decorated with a lot of love and care for your enjoyment!
Love the outdoor area. Within 15 minutes from airport.
Loved how close it was to my family and to local shopping area. Loved the arcade game and the awesome TV. Cozy and comfy. Recommending this place to all my family and friends!
The house was very clean and private. A few things would make it a bit more user friendly, the small fridge off the floor, a small bistro table for eating or playing games. All in all a nice place!
We came in early and did stuff in Pittsburgh, got to the house late. We were happy with the house, there was a coffee pot but no coffee, we had bought some groceries with hopes there was a toaster so we could eat our jelly that we got at the orchard. But the overall stay was great!
This was a nice place to stay for one or two nights. Close to airport. Did not realize that there was nothing around to eat or do. We had to drive about 15-20 to find food and shopping. Other than that the home was modern, neat, and clean. My boys old and young loved the old school arcade!!!
Property was clean, spacious, and perfect for our weekend getaway. The Putt ParTee and arcade game were a fun way to pass time during the rain showers. Check-in and Check-out was a breeze and Kara made a point to reachout to us during our stay to make sure we were comfortable.
Kara’s place was just what we were looking for! Plenty of space, a great outdoor area and comfy couches and beds. Also a great entertainment system and of course a putting green and Galaga arcade machine are always a plus. Would highly recommend!
We had a great time and the place was perfect. Clean, comfortable, ptivate, and the beds were extremrly cozy. We woyld definately stay again.
Lovely neighborhood Beautiful renovation Plenty of room Sliders to outside Picnic table and fire pit available You do walk across the lawn down the side of the garage. Slightly sloping so would not be disability accessible.
I really liked the communication with this owner and was looking forward to meeting her, but it never happened. Also, it was hard. I'm in a WChair. Things bad...no HC help, carpet too think for chair. Toilet & shower were barless. No coffee cups You need to state in your description that it is TOTALLY HC FREE
We really enjoyed our weekend at this apartment! It was just as described and the owners were very responsive. We would definitely stay here again!
Was in town for a few weeks apartment was just as advertised. I was extremely pleased with my entire experience. When I come back to the area I definitely will be trying to stay here again. The room was clean. The area was pleasant right outside the door you have amazing views.
Stayed here for about two weeks for work purposes and it was such a comfortable stay. I told Kara this but the pictures here really didn’t do it enough justice. The vibes are just perfect! Big TV, plenty of space, great entertainment, huge bathroom, and a nice modern look all around. All that it’s missing is a kitchen. Would’ve been nice to have one but the microwave and tiny fridge got the job done for me. Extra points from me as well for the soccer decor ⚽️ not my team but I highly enjoyed the retro England World Cup posters!!
My daughter and I stayed here for the weekend while in the area for a soccer tournament. Check in, host communication and friendliness, and the unit itself was all great. The neighborhood was quiet and very nice, my daughter brought her scooter and went up and down the street easily because traffic on the street is very minimal. Thus, if you are coming to explore the area this would be a great hub to rest and relax.
Kara, the host, was very easy to communicate with. The property was clean with the ammenities listed accurately. A small hiccup, a slow drain, was addressed quickly. For my stay with my teenage son this was a great property and priced right. While it did not cause any issues for us, if you have any mobility issues you may talk with the host first. This is a walkout basement with access at the back of the house and requires walking down a slight grade over grass to get to the covered patio where the door is. Should not be a concern for most folks, just a consideration.
When I found this property, I was excited that it had a video game machine that I used to play as a kid. I’ll save that for later. Upon our arrival we met with the property owner who was very friendly. Entering into the apartment we noticed a strong scent of pets including urine. Since the owner lives on site I contacted her immediately. I told her I was extremely allergic to animals and the smell was intense. She said her dogs do go down into the apartment. We opened the 2 sets of French doors in an attempt to air it out, but it didn’t help. I contacted Vrbo to file a complaint but that went nowhere. That evening, I had to run to Walmart to buy Pet Deodorizer to try to douse the smell. Of course, having the doors open (which had no privacy curtains) let in all the bugs which were landing on my face all night. The next day when we returned I noticed plug-in air fresheners. That did help a bit, but not with my allergies. I was popping medicine like candy and had to limit my time in the apartment to just sleeping and showering. Most of our time was spent outside around the fire pit or out galavanting. Vrbo was supposed to relocate me, but that never happened. It was 3 nights, so we dealt with it. As for the video game, it’s just for show. There’s no plug. I did take photos of everything I mentioned here, including a large stain on the carpet which looks like pet damage. Positives were the nice property owner and the fire pit. Negatives was paying $500 to suffer because Vrbo was useless in helping me.
My husband and daughter had to travel to PA from MI for our daughter's job for a few nights in July 2022. This property was the perfect respite for their stay. So much more relaxing then a hotel. The apartment was clean and quiet. They loved the added fun sporty touches with the putting mat, arcade, and dart game. My husband is a Varsity golf coach for 20 years in MI and our daughter plays golf for a local PA college. Such a fun added to touch to help them pass their time!
