Stayed Jun 19, 2023It was a cute little apartment but I was planning on having the fridge pictured but it had a small dorm fridge. The walls are paper thin also. It was clean and the patio was very nice.

Stayed Feb 17, 2023In spite of what some are saying, the property is very safe. You're right across from Nat'l Guard if that helps. The owners communication was EXCELLENT. Always got back to me right away anytime I had any questions/concerns. The property was good. A few things though: You are SHARING the home. Good news is there is a door that locks in between so you will have no interaction with your roommates. Second, you will be sharing parking. It sounded like you have 2 parking spots to yourself but apparently this is shared so if you have 1 cars, you will have to park on the street I guess which I wouldnt recommend as street is narrow. Our side of the home did not have a real kitchen. Just the a small fridge, toaster and microwave. Not a big deal but you should be aware. On our side you also dont have access to the thermostat, so if you are hot/cold you are at the mercy of the neighbor. Speaking of which if your neighbors are loud, you will hear. ever. word. So if that's a concern, beware. Finally, biggest gripe, shower drain drains VERY SLOW so it'll be like you're standing in the shallow end of the pool as you shower. This apparently has been told to the owner before based off past reviews but has yet to fix. Overall, if I knew exactly what I was getting into I would still rent the property but these kinds of issues, could scare off other guests so keep this in mind. Overall tho 4/5 stars

Stayed Dec 30, 2021The property itself worked well for our family of four. Our girls had their own room with a twin and trundle bed. Everything that the owner had control of went great! It was nice to be able to park our car for free and drive into town in about 12 min. The only thing that was different than I imagined was the area of the property. It is about one street away from the lower 9th ward and required driving through not the best areas of New Orleans every time we went to the city. We were there during New Years so we also had a lot of random fireworks and car alarms in the neighborhood, but again not something the owner could control. Overall it worked for what we needed.

Stayed Mar 6, 2026Amazing host that's very accommodating, communicative, and friendly.Ended up staying in two separate units.Location was so quiet. Good shower pressure, comfy pillows, plenty of towels, nice welcome binder for guests.Perfect for budget minded travelers that want convenience (10min or less) to a busy/noisy city.I gave 4 and not 5 for check in bc I followed VRBO initial instructions initially and they were incomplete, causing a delay....until I read another msg. There was an additional msg with further, very detailed info and had no problems. My only recommendation is having a thicker blanket available for those who don't like AC like their husband does I'm glad I brought a fuzzy throw. We plan to return next March!

Stayed Sep 24, 2025Ended up using a patio chair inside so we could both sit comfortably - I realize there was limited space. Handles on fridge should be moved to right side since it doesn’t open all the way it would be more convenient to open towards kitchen not the hall. And it can be done on that model. Maybe lamp in sitting area ceiling lights were so bright and without it was pretty dark. It was a very quiet place to stay and felt completely safe.

Stayed Nov 7, 2024We were in the patio for 3 days and it has cute small rooms. Be aware that the “kitchen” is actually in the main bedroom closet. Basically it’s the main bedroom, bathroom and a second bedroom/living. We moved from there do to loud neighbors and Michael/Miranda were super responsive and offered us the cottage to stay in. We moved into the cottage and stayed there the rest of the time and it is a larger bedroom-with bathroom & laundry room in bedroom, full kitchen and living room. Both are well kept and worked great for my mom and I.

Stayed Dec 9, 2023We are originally from St. Bernard Parish and rented this location for a family funeral. We traveled with our son and his family and our Pomeranians. Perfect location to visit NOLA as well as friends on the Northshore and Picayune,MS. Kitchen was well stocked and the fenced yard was a big plus for our pups. Planning on renting in the future for return trips home.

Stayed May 17, 2024Everything was perfect and shown as listed! Very clean and nice for a small family trip to stay. Also has a nice patio with a fenced in yard for your fur baby. It’s perfect for when you want to stay out of French quarter but close enough for you to go!
