Moondah Lodge (-Dunsborough)

We had a lovely break at Moondah lodge and will definitely stay here again, easy to walk into town and a nice park nearby to take our dog for walks.

Moondah Lodge is perfect for a quiet couples getaway with your dog. Clean, quiet, friendly and a great location all add up to a fantastic holiday retreat.

Yes host was excellent w communication The not so satisfactory aspect but certainly not a game changer: 1)Quite a no of crockery items were not replaced where previously broken.2) complete glass shower is large enough for 2 with separate showers on each side….. May not be suitable for body conscious . Also within the same corridor as kitchenette The fantastic aspects :1) Bed mattress was firm and excellent. 2) Compact area generally well designed for the allotted space.3) Kitchenette very compact but functional for one 4) The best thing with this listing is that it is so close to the town n beach areas in Dunsborough n Yallingup 5) It is so dog friendly so extremely convenient if u are a single or a couple with a dog ! 6) An enclosed courtyard and dog door makes it so convenient once it discovers access out of the unit.Our 2 little ones were thrilled they did not have to get us whenever they needed to go out for a no 1 or no 2 .

Property was clean and lots of ammenities were provided for the small space. Our host was kind enough to leave some breakfast for us.It’s a really short walk to Dunsborough centre, and a pleasant one at that through the park. Martina was very fast with communication, reaching out to us prior to our arrival with all the details.

The property was delightful. Very short walk to centre of town. Safe enclosed small yard for our 2 little dogs.Everything we could need was supplied. Spotless accommodation.Very warm, helpful, friendly host

Fantastic spot, close to shops, walks and great for the dogs. Pretty private and had all amenities.

It is so cute it’s like a little cottage for a couple it’s all you need at so close to everything, we did day trips from there & it was easy thank you Martina

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Moondah Lodge. The lodge was very comfortable and perfect for a weekend away. Being dog friendly was a happy perk so we could bring our pooch along also. Check in and out was easy, and Martina was very accommodating. Thanks for a great stay! :)

Lovely stay with very comfy bed

We loved our stay at Moondah Lodge. It was perfect for a couples weekend away, clean, all required anmenities and in the perfect location just a 5 minute walk into town. Thank you to our host Martina. We will be back again.

Our little dog Remi loved this place. It was her first holiday with us. Location is perfect close walk to town.

We stayed with our 2 small dogs. Martina was very easy to contact and gave us clear instructions for check in. The small courtyard was great the dogs and completely secure and private. The area is quiet and has a lot of wildlife. Thanks again for our stay, we would definitely come again.

A lovely time was had during our stay at Moondah Lodge.

Cosy, comfortable, quiet- close to everything but ‘out of the way’. The host, Martina, is very welcoming and communicates efficiently so that everything goes well.

Our weekend at Martina’s place was incredible. The lodge was extremely clean with beautiful, perfectly placed artsy decor, Martina greeted us at the property when we arrived, she was easy to communicate to with ample instructions/information and the area of the lodge is perfectly located.

Martina’s place is amazing. It has everything you need for a couple of nights. The little private courtyard is so pretty. Martina made us feel very welcome and looked after. I’d highly recommend staying there. Can’t wait for our next visit.

When we arrived at the property with our dog the host was surprised we had a dog and accused me of not communicating and made us feel very unwelcome, she was confrontational about the fact that I had not advised her that we were bringing a dog. She advised that there would be a $10/night pet fee which I agreed to pay. The add on Stayz does not stipulate this as a requirement the add only advises up to two dogs and it is ok to leave the dog on the premise if it is well behaved. The host denied this statement although it is clearly spelled out in the add. We would not return as we felt on edge during our stay due to this confrontational welcome to the property.

Large comfortable bed. Everything provided and spotlessly clean with all thats required for a short stay. Thoughtful Host extra treats too. Lovely dog secure patio. Fantastic location- a few minutes drive to Dunsborough beach and an 8 minute stroll to the centre of Dunsborough.

This property was definitely over and above our expectations. It offers privacy, close the to amenities and beach and is very quiet. The host has thought of all the little extras to make a stay special.

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

We loved our stay at Moondah Lodge. Martina, the owner, is super responsive & helpful. We were supposed to stay 3 nights but could only stay 2 because our daughter had her baby early and we had to go babysit the 1 yeard old. Will definitely book Moondah Lodge again in the future!

Great location, clean and loved the chocolates

The lodge is in a great location. Very short drive to the dog beach. The place is dog-friendly and the private courtyard is very handy and safe to let the dog out to do their business early morning or at night. There is no proper kitchen (no stove/oven), but it's not a problem for a short stay. Highly recommended.
