We stayed for a week in Apartment I of this property, which is nicely located in the small town of Pisak on the Dalmatian coast between Omis and Makarska, not far from Brela. The apartment is clean, well equipped and well maintained. Dragana is very helpful and is always around to assist and give advice. The small pool is nice and very welcome after a warm summer's day. Apartment I is on the ground floor of the property. The two bedrooms are not very spacious but beds are nice and the rooms are simple yet elegantly decorated. The apartment has two bathrooms. The apartment is located on top of the village; the beach is a few hundred metres away and can be reached by walking down a set of steep chairs. There are 2 nice restaurants down the beach at the little port.

Just returned home from a 2 week holiday in Croatia, staying in the rather wonderful village of Pisak. We have had a fabulous time and apartment Mediterranea, owned by the Bakula family, was perfect. The apartment is situated at the top of the village and has outstanding views of the sea and mountains. There is everything you need and Dragnana, the housekeeper, is always on hand if you need something - she is just lovely. Pisak is a great place to be located. It's a small village, but plenty of atmosphere and a couple of nice restaurants and bar. Best suited to couples and families. Places worth visiting are Vrulja beach by Kayak (hired in the village), Krka National Park (absolutely stunning) and Trojic and Brac. We never got to Dubrovnik as it's a little too far with a young family. Croatia is a wonderful country, we absolutely intend to come back and cannot recommend the Mediterranea apartments enough. Thank you to the Bakula family, Dragnana and Pisak for making us so welcome!

The apartment is excellent, and exceeds what is written in the advert. The building is very modern and tidy, with a great little pool, sun deck, and grill area. The balcony has a side door to the pool which is very handy. The kitchen is well fitted out, with consumables available (bin bags, dishwasher tablets, cleaning stuff). Wifi connection is very very good, fast and reliable. The house is very quiet at night and has a great view over to Hvar and Brac. The apartment is at the top of Pisak, near the main road, so it is a fairly long walk down the steps to the beach in the village, but its worth it for some really nice beaches. There is a shop, bakery and a few restaurants in the village which has a very nice atmosphere. Dragana was available to help when we had questions and very friendly. If I was going to be critical I would say the TV is small and didnt find any decent channels (its the same everywhere in croatia for english tv though) but I didnt go to croatia to watch TV!

What a wonderful week of relaxing in a very comfortable apartment II with very reasonable prices. We arrived after hotel stops in several other Croatia locations. This was our middle week of a three week holiday. Finding this place was a blessing and dealing with the owner was nothing but professional with prompt replies to our inquiries. Pisak is a nice quiet small town situated a short distance from Omis and Makarska. All necessities are nearby in town within a walking distance. Our apartment was well equipped and included much needed washer for our laundry. The beds were very comfortable with a walkout onto a wraparound balcony. The balcony view of the Adriatic below is just beautiful and relaxing while overlooking a nice clean pool and patio area that has a fish washing station and a large covered stone grille. The weather was absolutely perfect and I could see myself spending more time at this great location. There are a couple of restaurants in the small port with a great little bakery nearby. The caretaker of the four apartment property was most pleasant and completely fluent in english. If you want tranquility with access to nice cities nearby this is the place. I could not say enough about this place and I look forward to visiting this location in the future. Mike M

Excelent house and all day service (one person almost all the time avaiable on place) including maintenance and cleaning of public areas. Nice neibourghood and lovely people in the village. Location was excelent, near of small village, including restaurang and by car, all the near by cities are easy to reach, We can recommed this property to all of our friends and relatives and propably we will try to rent it if we are able to visit in Croatia next July.

The apartment was excellent and I highly recommend it. It was very clean, well equipped with lots of plates, saucepans etc, a huge fridge and very spacious. It is probably the best apartment I have ever stayed in.
